Robinstar whipped round smelling smoke. Roaring flames leaped into the air. Smoke filled the clearing. Her eyes watered at the feeling that some cats may die, who knew. She jumped to her paws, "RUN!" she yowled she ran to the nursery taking Lichenkit from Eagleeye, "Run!" she hissed with her mouth full of Lichenkits hair. She could not bare seeing kits die. Like her kits had. Before she became deputy her kit was killed by a hawk. She shook her head trying to get rid of the thought. She leaped to her feet. Even if Eagleeye and she did not make it, Lichenkit would. She ran through the camp entrance. She could not talk that loud because of the kit, "RUN!"

Mirrorkits squealed as Robinstar picked her and Lichenkit up, the small kit started coughing and her eyes started watering, she mewed for her mother. The fire was bright and relentless, eating anything it got near. She stared at her sibling, hoping for support, Lichenkit was always braver than her, and acted like the older sibling. She put her paw on her sister, staring at her with her big, soft, turquoise eyes.

EagleEye looked around desperately for her beloved mate, HawkFawn. But a few heartbeats later, she heard his voice yelling for her...commanding cats to leave...

HawkFawn saw the smoke rising up from somewhere in camp. As he noticed a flicker of light in the corner of his eye, he rushed into the nursery, looking for EagleEye. "EagleEye! I'm here! I'm coming for you!" @Maplefall as HawkFawn searched, stumbling over roots and thickets, he saw a kit. His kit. The deputy scooped it up in his jaws, eyes narrowed against the smoke. No sight of his mate.
