Rushingmoor was considering going for the kill and just ending this torture once and for all when he heard a familiar voice. Somehow, Stagpaw had squeezed out from under Rushingmoor and was now being squished- exactly what Rush had been trying to avoid. The stripes warrior shoved through the mass of cats toward the apprentice, shouldering frenzied warriors and apprentices away with no hesitation until he was standing over Stagpaw again.

This time, Rushingmoor snatched Stagpaw’s scruff and lifted him swiftly out of the crowd, craning his neck so that Stag was out of the mess but in perfect position to kick cats in the face. Using the apprentice as a wrecking ball of sorts, Rushingmoor pushed out of the swarm and dropped Stagpaw on the open ground, panting.

“You okay, little bug?”

What was up with that? He’d never sounded so concerned for a kid’s wellbeing. Oof was he turning soft? It seemed that Twig and Bug had turned him into a soft cat. Shaking his head at himself, he turned to check on Twilight from afar, figuring that she’d be pissed if he jumped in but leaving it as an option just in case.

Well, that was a change of heart for the ignorant kit, the one who had been laughing at her. Nodding bleakly, Rosepaw let herself rest her head on her front paws. Her vision was getting blurry and she felt exhausted. It was nice to be fussed over, but she was in a lot of pain. The cobwebs hardly did anything to prevent any sort of bleeding.

Smolderpaw smiled at Shockpaw when they appeared and he nodded eagerly.

“Wanna go for a hunt?”

He hoped his friend would agree- he was way too bored to just stick around camp but he also didn’t want to go hunting alone. That didn’t sound much more interesting than just sitting around.

Savages. Savages. This was an execution and they were going about it in such a barbaric way. He held his tongue urging himself not to speak out against Twilightstars orders. She was his leader. He was her medicine cat. The bottom line is- he wasn’t a fighter he wasn’t supposed to attack anybody instead he was supposed to harp about peace and live and forgiveness. None of which he had the capability of doing.

Not that Lobster deserved any chance to breath but he supposed it would be more torture to let this drag on. Perhaps he could simply lay down a suggestion. Not an order- that way he could evade any of twilightstars punishment in the future.

“Back off of him!” the tabby medicine cat roared standing and pushing his way close to the traitor and flashing everyone a frown. “You are all savages. Attacking him all at once as if you aren’t organized? One at a time. You want to see him fight back do you not? What’s the fun in mobbing him?!” He snorted giving the warriors and few apprentices a daunting look.

Truth be told... he wanted to see this dragged out for longer. The clan was being purified by a less than fluffy way of going about it. He was surprised Twilightstar was capable of this kind of thing. With that he snorted in the direction of the cats and withdrew to a spot to watch. He wouldn’t get his paws dirty if he didn’t need too.

Rosepaw gave a tiny nod to the kit and buried her nose into her paws, trembling. Barleykit wasn't so bad after all.

Rosepaw backed away, her elegantly bushy tail flicking. "The warriors may do the dirty work," she sniffed, going back to her mother.
