"No, you're the scourge, not GrassClan," Leafpaw muttered under her breath, not caring if Blazestar heard or not. They had attacked another Clan, and for what? A bit of prey? A little territory? Blazestar had even resorted to attacking Firefang. How could these cats still think he was the great, just leader he said he was? They had all seen it happen. She dug her claws into the ground, suddenly terrified of what was to come.I have to get out of here. She took a step back, neck fur beginning to bush.

She stepped back one more pawstep, chest heaving in panic as she suddenly felt trapped by all the cats in the clearing. I'm surrounded. Trapped. They're coming for me, coming to kill me, following Blazestar willingly. Oh, God, I'm suffocating. Then she locked eyes with Blazestar, and saw the burning cruelty in his eyes. A sudden calm washed over her, and she forced her fur flat. I will not give you the pleasure of seeing me run.
