Featherpaw froze in fear as Icebite lunged at her, then gasped as a brown cat crashed into him before running off. Featherpaw used this to her advantage and pinned Icebite. She bit the base of his tail and used her left paw to claw his side. “Liar!”

Icebite threw her off and lunged again, this time aiming for her face. Blood dripped from the wound in his side, but he didn't care.

Icebite easily knocked her away with a backpaw swipe.
Icebite turned, amusement in his gaze. "Oh really?" he asked. "You think you could handle me? Well, remember we are in a battle."
A lean she-cat jumped on Rivergold, scratching her ears.
"Warrior code, butthole," she growled, then yelped in surprise when she was scratched. She spun and lunged, jaws wide to catch any body part too near.

Featherpaw hit the ground and looked up at Icebite. When she realized what he was doing she rolled over and jumped to her paws. “Your gonna have to try harder than that if you wanna defeat me!”

Icebite ducked to avoid Featherpaw. "Do you think the world cares whether we follow the code or not?" he asked. "The world doesn't care what we've done. The world will try to take us when they think it is right. But I won't let the world beat me. I'm strong enough to beat anything the world throws at me." As he was speaking, he lunged, aiming for the she-cat's throat. Just before he reached her, a brown tabby shape knocked him over. Before he could get up, the cat ran off.
Meanwhile, a gray she-cat lunged for Leafpaw, and a white tom with long fur pounced on Berrypaw.

Leafpaw froze, and then managed to roll out of the way just in time. Her heart was pounding so hard, she was surprised her opponent couldn't hear it. With a small twinge of regret she lashed out at the she-cat's ears.

The she-cat dodged and used her leg to knock Rivergold over.

The she-cat ducked and lashed out with one paw.
She yelped as thorn-sharp claws slashed her muzzle. Blood welled from the cuts and she shook her head furiously, spraying bright red droplets into the air and spatter in the ground. Growling softly, Leafpaw crouched, staring up at her opponent. "I don't want to fight you."

Featherpaw nodded. “Yup-” She broke off as something crashed into her side and sent her tumbling to the ground. “Oof!” Featherpaw glared up at the cat. “Why aren’t you attacking him too!”
