"Haha yeah nothing about this feels natural. I feel more like the squirrels and things I see near the border with Thunderclan." She smiled up at him. The sun filtered through the trees, making Ashpaw's frame outlined against the sunlight as she stared up at him. She wanted to go up with him though. She dug her claws in and climbed a bit higher until she was on a branch just under him. "Do you climb trees often? Or just on special occasions?" She asked him, make eyes sparkling with interest.
"Wow, that sounds scary. And if you were a squirrel, youd climb better than any cat." He mewed, pausing a moment before continuing, "Mostly special occasions, but occasionally for training sessions or a bird to eat." The gray apprentice smiled, looking at Peachpaw as the sunlight cast it's rays on her beautiful fur. Ashpaw waved his tail as she climbed higher, getting to where she was just a branch below. He liked that Peachpaw was different than most shecats he had met...they were able to hang out, and teach each other things about their clans. It was great.

(( @woly

THIS IS IT BOIS
THE FATED DAY
GO GET YOUR POPCORN AND TISSUES))

Honeypool stayed on the RiverClan side of the border as she gingerly wandered around. It wasn't too long ago where she practically sprinted over here to get the chance to see the firey colored tom. But now she was shivering on the edge of her clan's territory. The stench of the moor and rabbit wafted around her nose, the stench she learned to accept and get used to. It was all around her. Honeypool attempted to breath in deeply and sigh to try and control her nerves. She was testing the guidance Cloversplash gave to her, to follow her heart. She was still unaware of who she knew her love and her heart truly belonged to. She confessed her feelings to Fireflare, but that was when Fallenstream was there and yelled at her. That's been the last time she has interacted with the two since. She knew she wanted to trust him and be open with him again, but the ebony tom still scared her. She needed to put trust in him, though. That is what the StarClan cat Waterstreak told her when she was sleeping once. She looked up to the sky. She wondered if he, along with the rest of StarClan, was gazing down on her from Silverpelt and judging her every action she's making, seeing if she will make the right choices. Even with her so close, she still had no idea if this was the right decision. She kept looking back in the bushes from every sudden movement around her. She is worried Fallenstream will somehow pop up again. She keeps her eyes and nose attentive and cautious as she continues searching for the ginger tom.

Fireflare was another patrol by himself. Or at least, thats what he had called it to get away from camp. It would be early hours till late at night that Fireflare would wander to the border waiting for Honeypool. It had been moons since they last seen eachother, and not even that had been pleasant. besides the confessions, of course. It warmed him to think he had won her affections. brought a smile to his face even. But the more he thought about it..the more Fallenstream seemed right. When he first had met Honey, it wasnt intended to go this far. He was suppose to gather her information and leave, not fall for her completely. he was evil. No better then that murderous tom Riverclan calls a deputy. He wandered along the border once more in tired steps, green eyes not shining in confidence like they had before whenever he came to this place.

Shuffling was heard around her, making her shiver in response. It could simply be a small animal passing through, trying to avoid confrontations from predators like a cat. But the last time they heard shuffling out in the border, it was not prey, but massive Fallenstream coming in to wreck their meeting. Throughout this confusing ordeal, Honeypool never once blamed or resented Fallenstream for what he did that day, she mainly just blamed herself. No she didn't harbor a grudge on the inky tom, but her fear for the tom has intensified. Her views and feelings for Fireflare were the same. Or at least, that's what she thinks. The familiar scent of the WindClan wafted her nose, and her movements became more hesitant. Why was she getting like this? Wasn't this the aroma of the cat she poured out her feelings to only a few moons ago? Didn't she love this cat? Honeypool looks around the area, trying to pinpoint where it was. She mews in a quiet tone. "Fireflare? Is that you?" she calls out.

Especially if the cats in that clan hadn't been here to renew them yet. Goosegrumble sniffed Windclan's border markers, which were also stale due to the rain. The large tom remarked the one closest to him, then flicked his tail at the other. "You can renew that one." He offered.
Lilavstrike was glad this tom just got to the point, she had already been headed to the other market before the ton spoke. She sniffed the air as she remarked it, it was nice out and it didn't look like it was going to rain again. The feline wasn't a huge fan of green leaf, she had always preferred leaf bare. She hates the heat but she knew it was the nest time to get fresh kill so she tried not to be too grumpy about the heat.

@Lonestar23

As faint sparkles of white began to dust the night sky, Lynxthroat couldn't help but convince himself to leave the not-so-cosy Riverclan camp. He had already crawled out from the Warriors' den, after carefully stepping over sleeping bodies and messy beds of moss; thankful for his bobbed tail. Now, he stood in utmost darkness, his paws kneading at the soft grit - yearning for adventure and the familiar marshy terrain of Shadowclan. Although, Lynxthroat was certain that he could only grant his mitts the wish to explore.
Warily tossing his gaze around the almost-empty clearing, the tom-cat hesitantly set off, keeping his head low, and his pace as slow as possible; aware that any odd noises could wake the sleeping members of both the clans that resided here. He was aware of the few cats guarding the entrance to the territory, and simply used the excuse of needing to take a drink from the river. Doubtful expressions masked over the other feline's faces, although they didn't question the tabby tom, and let him go on without a second glance.
As soon as that stressful moment was over, the tom raced out into the territory. The dark purples and blues from above didn't make it difficult for him to see, in fact, in fact, he was too busy admiring the beautiful views above, to even watch where he was going. His forest-green globes were significantly rounded, as if they were trying to take in everything in front of them. The stars, the seemingly airbrushed sky, and the frequent wispy cloud. It was all so... relaxing. Or, at least to Lynxthroat it was. He knew of some cats who would just completely ignore the wonders of nature, but not him. Even if he was as scornful as a grumpy elder, the tom would at least pay attention to the world he was born into; at least it gave him something to occupy himself with.

Soon enough, with Lynxthroat's lack in self-awareness, he began to notice a change underneath his paws. The texture of the ground was significantly different, and the bulky feline briskly transferred his gaze downwards. A hint of confusion laced across his features, inducing a perplexed tint of yellow to his irises. Lifting a single paw to grasp at the loose soil, the feline suddenly came to the realisation that he'd crossed the border. The scent of another clan was strong, but it seemed like if he were to drift further into the territory, he'd probably stink of the moors. Treading back towards the border, the feline passed back into Riverclan, quickly swivelling around just in case there was another cat around. Fortunately, he seemed to be the only presence nearby, and he let out a sigh that he didn't even know he was holding in. His globes subconsciously travelled around the area, and Lynxthroat soon began to find comfort in the scenery. It was quite barren and lacking in vegetation, but otherwise there were many places that the male thought would make good beds. Before he wanted to go to rest though, the striped feline decided to ensconce his build upon the ground. Lynxthroat was inclined to think that he'd be better off double-checking for any dangers out here, as if he were to be attacked, there would be a long way to travel back to the camp. It was better to be safe than sorry.

A tom slipped out of camp and headed through the territory, breathing in the night air. The sun had set only a few hours before and he was fully prepared to get out of the Clan. The tom wasn't sure whether he liked his home or not - oh certainly, it was comfortable and he felt happy there, but there was that distinct feeling of being trapped within rules and boundaries that he didn't like. The tom had never liked rules. Yet, he had learned to follow them over and over again. Every time he went somewhere they had their own set of rules. But he wasn't above breaking one of them now and again. The tom looked as though he were getting ready to break one of those very rules at the moment. With his head held high, and his paws carrying his body swiftly over the ground, the tom darted through the territory. A few lovestruck cats looked at him, startled, as he passed them - it was obvious a couple of those matchings weren't going to end well. He could just tell by the way they looked at each other. It wasn't even like the tom was that empathetic, it was more like he had learned what was a doomed relationship and what wasn't.

Though being gay - it wasn't easy to tell between straight couples. Sometimes they acted differently. But all in all, were they really so different? Was being with someone of the same sex that different from being with someone of a different sex? The tom didn't think so. It was just a boundary, something that had been put there to make sure that reproduction happened the way it was supposed to... but with the dozens of kits he had seen dumped, or left to die and abandoned, he was pretty sure there was more then enough reproduction happening. And if straight couples weren't going to take care of their kits? It was pretty sad when two cats in a relationship that had almost been deemed wrong had to step in. Addaxclaw approached the border, his paws falling softly on the ground as he padded across it. Yet there was a certain air of confidence, an expression of almost dangerous carelessness on his features as he moved. It was as though he wasn't afraid of 'crossing the border.' Being a WindClan cat, you would think that Addaxclaw had the slim and naturally agile build of them. Oh no - he wasn't a born WindClanner, having in fact, joined the Clan only recently. Actually he had been a former show cat... and a champion at that. But had he learned to be careful through that?

Of course not. He was just getting started on this reckless ride. Something attracted his attention and a moving figure moved from the RiverClan side of the border - onto the WindClan side and then back again. Now, Addaxclaw, lacking in the loyalty that it took to be a proud warrior of WindClan, didn't seem to mind this at all. On the contrary, his eyes sparked with interest as he stared at the other cat. "A long way from home, aren't you ShadowClanner?" Yes, even though the scent of RiverClan seemed to be strong on him, he could still scent that familiar - and dark - scent. It must be embarassing, reduced to hiding in another Clan's camp while your own was flooded. Though Addaxclaw wasn't about to mention that. He wasn't insensitive. He wasn't lacking in emotion.

Yet he wasn't exactly the most... understanding of cats in the world, might be a good way to put it. And he felt quite strongly about his own beliefs. Though was that so different from any cat? After all... didn't everyone want to think good things about the things that they believed in? The answer was yes - a resounding yes, over and over again. Inside the tom's head, that was.

Goosegrumble himself sniffed the air. He could smell the cold on it's way, although it would be a long time yet before it came. He himself liked Leaf-Fall, when it was cooler, but not freezing. "Alright, I think we are done here." Goosegrumble meowed, looking over to Lilacstrike for confirmation.

Leaves and foliage were lifted up from the barren ground, the wind carrying them sidewards, upwards, and every other direction possible. Cloudy green optics followed the dried-out vegetation, seeming that it was the only thing interesting to him. Otherwise, there was nothing at all that could be viewed as harmful in the feline's opinion. A few thorn bushes here and there, but no holes or paw-steps; which was the main thing that he was looking out for. His tail tip, or whatever there was of his banner, twitched in a rather nonchalant manner. After a few moments, just before the tom-cat was about to remove his barrel from the soft earth below, a couple of rustles alerted him to an oncoming creature. He froze, well-built bodice almost motionless as the male waited impatiently for the figure to reveal themselves.

Lynxthroat immediately perked up at the sound of a voice ringing through his ears. Frowning at this, the feline leapt to his paws; ready to confront the stranger. However, when his gaze travelled upwards, he had to stop in his tracks. Nothing about the other cat made him on-edge, and the tabby almost cackled at himself for having such a dramatic reaction. Bespeckled globes observed the stranger, tracing over their body and build, whilst also memorising their coat and flank. No matter how hard he tried, Lynxthroat just couldn't recognise the other feline, which obviously made him slightly sour. "I guess you could say so," his expression transformed multiple times, but soon decided on going with disgusted look. His nose was upturned, and lines formed around his forehead. "but that shouldn't matter to you anyways. Shadowclan are still as strong as ever.... and at least, we have Riverclan as our allies." Satisfied with the ways in which he'd responded, the stocky brute pulled his chest forwards, before craning his crown downwards to swipe his tongue over some messy plumage. Of course, he exaggerated the action, as if he were trying to get on the other's nerves.

Once he had finished with his bragging of sorts, Lynxthroat yanked his gaze off from the moist terrain below. He trained his hues onto the tom in front of him, silently judging their demeanour. Sooty-brown mitts shuffled across the dampened ground, kneading at it every now and then, just as something for him to fidget with. It was oddly satisfying - both the earth below his paws, and the lack of noise that surrounded the duo.

With no one else around, there might have been no need to worry. And honestly, there would have been no worry in the WindClan cat's mind, not since it was really no one else's business what he did. Thankfully for the new addition, no one really seemed to care what he did. Which was something the tom was grateful for. His sense of loyalty was at about a zero at the moment, which only made it easier to get away from everything. The words that the other cat spoke amused him, and his eyes began to twinkle playfully. "There's no need to be proud. I couldn't care less whether your Clan is weak or not - it's not like I could single-handedly take you guys on, and why would I want to?" His sharp eyes twinkled again, and he glanced over Lynxthroat.

"An ally, you say? That's not what I've heard about it."

Addaxclaw had indeed heard the rumors around camp - that ShadowClan had been forced to take refuge in RiverClan, despite the fact that tensions had been running higher then average between the two Clans. What was up with that? Though, he had no right to get involved in anyone's business - Addaxclaw himself had been no help, like a few of his clanmates, during the tensions with ThunderClan.

"I'm Addaxclaw, by the way. And you are?" He sounded almost as though he felt like he was better then the other tom. Though that had never been the case. Never before had the feline felt as though he 'was better' then anyone else. Which was somewhat annoying when he came to think of it, also considering the fact that he might want to be. The tom glanced up at the sky, seeing the stars sparkling above. Some cats believed in 'StarClan -' Addaxclaw himself wasn't sure if the stars held power. Or their dead ancestors walking among the stars, that was. He wondered if the other tom believed in the star-power himself, but he somewhat guessed he did. Just watching Lynxthroat it was almost plain that he would believe in something. He seemed to want to believe in something. Like he couldn't do without it. But, Addaxclaw had gone on his own for a long time and he had never had things to believe in - therefore he was alright without this so-called StarClan. And besides... Addaxclaw wasn't so sure that the Clans believed in them themselves. Wasn't it just a story handed down from generation to generation?

Sometimes... he could almost see the doubt on their features. Like they weren't sure whether to believe these tales of StarClan. Addaxclaw couldn't blame them, and he didn't know of anyone that could. It was stressful... plain and simple. And that was all there was to it. Believing in something you couldn't see, something you couldn't touch, something you had made up to believe that your loved ones went somewhere was dumb. And that was why the WindClanner wasn't a part of it.

PROFILE PICTURE REFERENCE

I mentioned on my profile that I was starting over. A fresh start is best for me right now; I've created quite a few new characters, and they will all be on my site, but not all will be used in roleplay right away. it's likely I'll bring them in more gradually.
