Streamkit's head lowers. He's six moons old and he still hasn't become an apprentice yet, and it makes him sad.
Chervilkit leans close to him and nuzzles Streamkit. "Hey, do't feel bad." He mews softly.
Dimshade looks at the two kits across the clearing and tilts his head.
Ravenclaw looks at Coralsplash, dropping a small fish at their brother's paws.
Coralsplash nods toward his brother. "Thanks, Raven." He murmurs and starts eating the small fish slowly.

Palebrook got up slowly, shaking her head. She couldn’t remember the last time RiverClan had had a Clan meeting that hadn’t ended badly. It was becoming a repeating thing that was growing tiresome. Palebrook just wanted to get the thought of leaving the camp out of her head. She saw Stoneclaw going out of camp, looking like he was going hunting. ”Can I join you?” Palebrook asked.

She sighed and looked at Kestrelstar. She supported his idea, but her kits- would they make it? She walked up to him. "Kestrelstar.." She asked. "I trust you about this, but.. I would like to ensure that my kittens will be safe." She said, blinking. "I just, want to be sure, because- What if.."

* He turned around and noticed Palebrook. *
" Sure wouldn't mind the company since Littlebrook is in the nursery with our kits. "
* He turned back around and bounded off. *

As Sparrowskip dragged Kestrelstar's body into the clearing he sat down for a couple minutes. Just to say goodbye, sure they'd have the vigil but.. Sparrowskip lightly touched noses with Kestrelstar before approaching the Streamstone. He didn't think he'd be having to call a meeting this soon into his high rank. He breathed in and called
"All c-cats old enough to swim. Gather under the Streamstone for a meeting."
He yelled into the clearing. It was a painful yet emotionless yell, as devastated he was he needed to keep a unemotional font in front of the entire clan. He took one last look at the dead leader before tearing his eyes away to look at the clan.

Oh a meeting was being called by. . .Sparrowwhatshissuffix? Hm, maybe Kestrelstar finally kicked the bucket, she just sat down as, the deputy, leader, whatever seemed like a emotionally dead rat. And, oh, yep, okay he's gone, cool.

No. Mistypaw stepped into the clearing at the sound of Sparrowskip's call, dark amber eyes wide. There was Kestrelstar in the clearing. Dead. The molly gasped. "Kestrelstar! Wake up!" she exclaimed, a tear running down her cheek. But he was not asleep. He had been such a great leader. This could not be happening. "Sp- spa- sparrowskip? What h- happened?" she asked, her gaze traveling over to the deputy who was situated on the streamstone. Sobs kept escaping from her maw. I can't stop them. I can't stop myself from crying and I want to be a strong cat?

Shimmerbird perked her ears as she heard Sparrowskip call a meeting. Something was clearly wrong by the sound of his voice, and the fact that it wasn't Kestrelstar who was calling the meeting. Padding out of the warriors den her gaze was immediately drawn to the body in the middle of the clearing. No.. it couldn't be, could it?

She stepped forward, freezing, before glancing between it and the clearly devastated Sparrowskip. No no no no! What happened? Kestrelstar had multiple lives left right? This can't be happening! Her thoughts raced in panic as she numbly sat, a choked gasp coming out of her jaws.

What was going to happen to RiverClan now?
