Snowfern gasped a bit, "you didn't eat fish? How could you even near to eat those musky smelling mice and squirrels and stuff?" she asked in disbelief. She knew that the other clans didn't eat fish, but that didn't mean that she understood why!

Eveninglight gave a purr,” I could ask the same about fish.” she laughed. She thought it was funny that others liked fish so much, it was far too slimy,” Maybe it’s just what we are raised eating.“ she meowed

Snowfern shrugged, "i guess so. But I still don't understand why other cats wouldn't like fish!" she mewed, her eyes wide. Once you got over the slight smell, they were they best prey you could hope for! Plus, there was an abundance of fish in the river, so they didn't go hungry as often as the other clans. Fish were like the perfect food!

A small smile touched his muzzle and he settled back with a content sigh. If only he could lay like this forever. It was more comfortable than he thought it would be - laying next to another cat in the same nest, that is. Which, admittedly, was an odd thought to have, but a pleasant thought nonetheless.
The peace was disturbed quickly. A noise at the back of the den, quiet at first but quickly growing louder, made the fur on the back of his neck rise. He stared at the far wall, heart thumping in his ears, and for a moment there was no noise. It's probably a squirrel, he told himself. Nothing to be afraid of.
And then it happened again, louder this time, like claws scraping over sticks and leaves. He turned to Rainydawn and shook her frantically, fear rising in his throat. "Rainydawn, wake up," he hissed. "There's something outside and I can't tell what it is please wake up and make it leave."

Rainydawn melted into a puddle of warmth in her dream- it was so strangely pleasant! Her muddled, sleepy brain couldn’t think about what it felt like to sleep beside someone, it only registered warm peaceful feelings and went from there. But then that all disappeared.

Rainydawn woke with a jolt and sprang to her paws, fur bristling. She peered around, ready to defend herself and all of the memories came rushing back. Half of her wanted to cower while the other half promised to fight harder than she ever had before. He wasn’t going to hurt her this time.

Slowly, her senses came back and she blinked. She wasn’t with him... she was with Goosefury, in Goosefury’s nest. Rainy dawn looked down at the figure of Goosefury and registered the words he’d said when he’d awoken her. There was something making noise. Still on edge from the flashbacks, Rainydawn crept toward the back of the den, weaving gently around other sleeping cats. Her fur was spiked and her heart pounded as she neared the back of the den. It was only another pawstep and then she could thrust aside the leaves to see the perpetrator.

One push of her paws and Rainydawn jumped. The squirrel chattered and fled, apparently unaware that it had crept into a cat infested camp. The creature had gotten lucky tonight- Rainydawn was in no state to hunt. Heaving a sigh of relief and shaking her head in embarrassment at her reaction, the mixed bengal made her way back to Goosefury.

Yawning, Rainydawn curled up into the tom’s nest beside him, too sleepy and confused to even think about the strangeness of her actions and start acting awkward. The molly let out another yawn and snuggled up against him, touching her nose to his ear with her eyes closed before laying her head down.

“It was just a squirrel, Goosefury. We’re safe. You’re safe.”

As she drifted into sleep a little awareness came to her and her blood ran cold as she thought of all of the intimate things she’d just done. She hoped Goosefury wouldn’t remember that in the morning! Or that he wouldn’t feel upset or weird about her touching him so intimately...

Petuniapaw wanted to hang out. She missed having all her friends in the Apprentices' den with her and at the moment she was looking for Eveninglight. The molly was older then her yes, but she loved to hang out with her and really wanted to become close friends. "Hey, Eveinglight are you in here?" Petuniapaw called poking her head in the den.

Eveninglight caught sight of Petuniapaw, her friend. Yes Petuniapaw was an apprentice, but she was far more than your average apprentice. She gave a smile,” Hello Petuniapaw!“ she smiled waving her tail in joy to see her friend.

"Do you want to hang out or someting? She asked before quickly added: "I can tag along and help with your warrior duties if you don't have free time!"
