Cormy just returned to the clan (though that hasn’t been fully RPed yet) and he’s injured af. My idea, for your consideration, is that Corm spends a lot of time in the medicine den due to this and begins to help out as he heals and gets restless. Buckydad notices that Corm is helping out due to a few visits to check on him (assuming that Buck would visit since they’re close).
Buck and Corm are close and trust each other so maybe Buck thinks it would be smart to have someone he trusts as med cat, even if they aren’t full experienced with herbs and thus Corm becomes med cat until Frostbreeze calms down.
Cormorantglide wouldn’t necessarily like the change because he likes being a warrior and wants to find love, etc. But I could see him being the med cat for a good few moons until Buck thinks Frost had calmed down enough and Corm can retire and return to the life of a warrior!

Not online afterschool wednesdays or thursdays (at karate the whole night)
