Cicadapaw ears twitched at the sound of Wormbite's voice, though she grunted at the wind and shut her eyes before opening them in a squint as she made her way toward the other warrior once she was done. Though she just gently tapped his shoulder, seeing as she still didn't feel comfortable to speak just yet.

Skies above, the wind was terrible. Not to mention the dust that threatened to compromise his already lacking vision. He barely saw Cicadapaw, and tried his best to shield the younger cat with his body as he walked back to Wormbite. Despite it all, he couldn't help but let out a purr as he spoke. "I'm ready to get out of this wind, that's for sure."

A gentle tap on his shoulder signified one of them was ready; and then came Beansprout's lovely voice, confirming two were ready. (He briefly wondered if Cicadapaw was mute but, decided to let that shuffle away into a corner of his mind. ) "It's horrendous, " Wormbite mused in agreement, shaking his head lightly. Very, uncomfortable. With one last nod, he turned towards camp and started to head back home.

No. It couldn’t be happening like this. Things couldn’t just… happen like this. Not to them. They were calculated, smart, quick… too quick to be caught up in something as silly as this. Coldmilk would tell them that, it was silly, they were being silly. It really just was the nerves, they knew that didn’t they? Knew that when you were looking for symptoms they arrived. It was the pathetic capability of the mind to trick you into worsening yourself mentally. Goosecurl had reasoned that, and it was right. It had to be right.

The smoke tabby charged through the underbrush, a sense of urgency made them feel like throwing up, but they wouldn’t. Coldmilk would make it better… would make it seem like this was all ok. The warrior continued their advance on the border, being met with the fleeting scent of a patrol that had passed a while ago then slipped comfortably into a small cleft from a stack of large stones.

Coldmilk would be there soon. Coldmilk would make it better.

The riverclan molly walked up to the border, as she observed it, now sniffing the area. "Okay, Lightwing... You mark the border, i'll mark it here." She said, as she began to park the territory.

Coldmilk took his time; walking the same route he did every time he came to play in the pond with the fishes. He wasn't in any rush afterall; goosecurl could wait or he'd simply find someone else to leech attention off of...

His ears twitched and turned, listening to the sounds of the valley. He couldn't pick up on the cats scent specifically; they all smelt like rotten trout at the end of the day. "...Curl?" he dared to call out, stood above the very stone overhang the other was crouched down under.

Goosecurl, instinctively they remained still solid as Coldmilk approached. The wind seemed to carry the scent away from them and therefore making it impossible to tell who had arrived, aside from gentle steps and barely a whisper of breathing. Until they heard themselves being called for. Goosecurl pushed their way out from under the stones, turning to face Coldmilk who stood just above them. A sense of calm settled in their belly.

“Coldmilk…” affectionate words tumbled out of their mouth as they traversed the rocks to join him. Pushing their head into the bend of their neck and letting out a low groan. “I- I was so scared you wouldn’t come” their voice was shaky and muffled by fur. “I’ve been worried all day… I.. “ they withdrew for a moment, weighing exactly how they wanted to deliver it. They’d be laughing in a moment, gently butting heads and laughing off the possibility of a pregnancy, so why were they so scared?

Leading his patrol to the border, Ferretsnap kept his head held high in the case of a patrol meeting them. His nose scrunched as the scent of Windclan became stronger the the closer they got. Once he arrived, he turned around and looked toward his patrol members.

"Let's get this over with. Keep watch for any sign of WindClan, the scent seems stronger than usual and I don't like it."

As the little kit nosed her way out of camp, a sudden drop in temperature, and a cool mist of water made the small molly flinch, This must be the river she thought, padding closer she found a muddy path, till her paws scraped something hard, feeling around she started forward then she slipped on the other side, scenting dead grass she Heard a hoarse coughing, slowly creeping forward she asked
"Are you okay"
