Bella stood at the edge of the first route, pokedex and extra pokeballs hooked to her hip with one pokeball in hand. The wind blew through her pink hair. In the pokeball she held was her starter, her best friend, Riolu. He was the most reliable partner there was, he wouldn't leave her side for anything.
The pastel colored girl put one foot forward and chucked the red and white ball into the air. It made a lovely sound as it popped open, with a blue light out came Riolu, the small, fluffy baby pokemon she had hatched herself. He landed onto the ground with a loud cry, standing proudly. He then turned to look at his brightly colored trainer, curiosity in his eyes as the pokeball fell back down and she caught it, hooking it to her belt. "Let's go Riolu! Day one of our journey!" She giggled happily, not believing this was actually happening.

Willow skipped along the sidewalk with her Pokémon, Treecko, by her side. She has her Pokédex and Pokéballs in her pouch on her side.
