Brackendawn's fur began to bristle as she continued listening to Tigersnap. Usually, she could handle anyone's opinion and attitude, but mention kits and her normally tolerating persona was dropped. "Look, I'm not saying anything is wrong with your opinion, but kits are other things too! They're cute and bright. They believe the world is at their paws. And it is! They're so willing to learn and although they can be a pawful and annoying and messy, they can grow into anything they want. All cats have negative and positive traits, why are kits any different? Why do they have to be any different? Just because they're younger and have to learn things doesn't mean they need to only be seen as annoying." After that rant, Brackendawn was out of breath. She attempted to regain her composure, sitting down and smoothing down her fur. She usually didn't explode like that, but this was a topic that was near and dear to her heart.

They're a nuisance ......nothing but little monsters ....And they're mouthy as well ! his eyes blazed with anger as he kept thinking of every other thing he viewed kits as. He tried his best to let her win this argument , to let it roll of his back , but the words threatened to slip out and possibly ruin something . "that's what you think. " he growled before shaking his head with a sigh . Don't crack .....don't crack. he shook his fur as he fluffed it up a bit before he looked at a nice uninhabited spot in the clearing "weren't we supposed to be hunting after this? We barely got started on eating ..." he meowed frustration still lingering in his stone and was slipping through the cracks.

shatteredheart watched interestedly, whiskers twitching subconsciously, as her leader padded up to a random clanmate and began conversation. oh, if only it were that easy for shattered to talk with somecat; alas, it was not. shattered had to suffer the effects of being socially awkward, although she covered it up best she could whilst around others. the captain took a deep breath, uncomfortably plastered on an artificial smile, and, tail flapping around wildly, she stepped into the meadowclan clearing. it was much clearer than she had anticipated, and shatteredheart pondered around, sniffing the air in confusion. there was the scent of bird, or more specifically, an alive bird, but if her sense of smell was telling her correctly, why was aforementioned bird... not in the fresh kill pile? she could smell it from the clearing, so obviously somecat else would be able to as well. the captain walked up to crimsonstar. "hello," she spoke. "i don't mean to interrupt. is there anything worth noting that's ongoing or occuring today?" the female asked, looking at crimsonstar questioningly.

Crimsonstar turned around, winking at the other cat first to (hopefully) get them comfortable in the presence of both the leader and captain. On that note, the molly was happy to see Shatteredheart. When she first chose her to be the captain, she had imagained them doing everything together. Gossiping, spilling their secrets out to eachother, and collecting the prettiest flowers side by side. Though she didn’t realize how... distant the brown feline was. “Not that I can think of. But if you do want to have a little girls time, I wouldn’t mind.” She sounded like an apprentice again, eager to spend time and chat with her. And not to mention that her speckled coat would look gorgeous with just the right shade of flowers. Something purple. Maybe Crimsonstar could adorn her pelt with some lilacs, or some daylily to give it a pop. Tail swishing at the idea of her dream day with her right-hand feline, she waited eagerly for her response. It never crossed her mind that maybe the formal molly might say no. With her green orbs bright, she glanced at the exit, thinking of where the perfect location for this event would be.

A skinny ginger feline padded into the clearing, this tom was also known as Twigblaze. His name coming from his thin form and his bright fur. The tom made a quick stop at the freshkile pile to pick up a fish. Twigblaze settled in the middle of the clearing, shifting so he was sitting.
He leaned down, taking a mouthful of the fish, a smile on his maw. He may have shown a smile, but he was getting tired of the fish. There had to be some rabbit or something else around, he wasn't really interested in birds.
Perhaps Twigblaze would have to move to bugs, maybe beetles tasted nice. The ginger tom swallowed the prey, his amber eyes glinting darkly.
The annoyed and snarky look in his eyes seemed to disappear almost immediately as he saw a clanmate walk by. Twig definitely didn't want his joyful and happy clanmates to see that unhappy expression.
He recognized the other feline as Breezepaw, commonly referred to as the Shamans Apprentice. "Hello, Breezepaw!" Twigblaze meowed, a dip of his head in greeting.

Tigersnap perked his ears up afterwards and felt regret start to swell in stomach , he growled at himself and shook his head at being a mousebrain why do I always have to be right? What would leapordshine have done? She'd probably slap me with her tail and give me some sense . Foxdung! He layed down and wolfed down his fish and in a matter of seconds it was gone ,he quickly cleaned his paws and lips before getting up, he wanted to make this up for brackendawn , normally he wouldn't do this for anyone else ....but this Molly was different . Luckily he spotted a dandelion pretty far out in the clearing from where he was standing , he dashed toward it and picked it up now holding it gently but firmly in his jaws as he padded over to the she cat. I swear to starclan if this doesn't lighten the mood .... his pelt prickled with anticipation and worry as he neared brackendawn. The tom was a few mouse lengths behind the warrior when his cheeks burned once more, this wasn't anything romantic ....just something to give to a friend so he shouldn't feel like this. He poked brackendawn with his tail , his ears folded back as his eyes showed regret yet slight hope when he bent down to show brackendawn the flower that he was wanting to give her.

The trainee stepped slowly out of their den, long fur unkempt with various patches sticking up and bits of moss seemingly braided into their tail. They blinked and looked around, copper orbs unfocused as they flicked over camp and their Clanmates. After a few moments, they sat down, lazily beginning to groom their chest before realizing suddenly how messy their coat was and adopting a whole new vigor to their bathing. This is ridiculous... they commented silently. How'd my fur get so messy? Was I really tossing and turning so much while I slept..?
They dismissed various theories, knowing they needed to focus more on getting themself cleaned than why they needed to do so; if they let themself think too much, their train of thought would redirect to other topics and they'd eventually forget altogether about grooming.
Their eyes narrowed in concentration as they curled their tail to their side, twisting to lick ruffled fur smooth and pull out the moss. I really hope I don't have more mornings where I wake up like this and have to spend so long cleaning my fur. It's just a huge waste of time...and what if someone else sees me like this? What if they think I'm irresponsible for my fur being like this in the first place? Their queries fueled anxiety, and they caught themself glancing up to see if anyone was looking at them.

Breezepaw was walking through camp when she heard someone say her name. She turned around to see Twigblaze. "Oh, Hi Twigblaze!" She said happily. She had noticed there was a annoyed look on his face just before. "Tired of fish?" She guessed.

Whitefire settled down in a patch of sunlight with a content grunt. His bright amber eyes scanned the clearing. As an Elite, and therefore a member of Crimsonstar's personal council, he figured he needed to keep an eye on things that happened around the camp. Anything potentially threatening or dangerous would be reported back to the leader right away.
His chin dropped to his paws, and his eyelids drooped. Perhaps he shouldn't have chosen a sunny spot to do his daily watch. The gentle rays always made him tired.

"ya know what? why not," she responded uncharacteristically. perhaps she should spend some quality-time with the female who had chosen her for captain; they were supposed to trust each other and help each other out more than anyone else. shatteredheart hadn't really spoken with crimsonstar in a while; perhaps having a little -what had she called it?- 'girls time' would bring her and crimsonstar closer, although shatteredheart wasnt' sure if she wanted that. what if crimson 'shattered her heart'? the captain shook her pelt, clearing her indecent thoughts, and displayed a lighthearted smile. "hm... i think some good ol' shady ladys might look nice with you, but that might blend in to your fur too much..... lilacs? i dunno. we could just look around for some flowers," shatteredheart thought out-loud. a thought fluttered in her mind, a flower that would look gorgeous on her leader, but the female kept her mouth shut as to not raise anycat's hopes in the event they could not spot the aforementioned plant. the female glanced over at the meadowclan cat crimsonstar had been conversing with, nodding her head apologetically at them to acknowledge that she had interfered with their chat.

Soon, licking around his maw after in an attempt to get the left over off. "How could I get tired of fish?" He questioned with a smile. Twigblaze chuckled in a friendly tone, "They're the clans favorite food." He stated. 'And they're sickening when you eat them for a few moons too!' He thought, his brows furrowing slightly.
The ginger feline stretched his legs slightly. "So, what are you doing in the camp? Usually I'd see you with the Shaman." He meowed with interest.
