Name: Nightfeather

Gender: Female
Personality: Nightfeather is a bit gruff and straightforward outwardly and she doesn’t let many close to her, but to the few that manage it, she’s compassionate, caring, and loyal. Depending on the situation, she can either be low-key hostile or curious to a stranger, though if it’s the latter she’ll try her best not to show it. Either way, Nightfeather can be prickly, blunt, and cold towards others, purposefully pushing others away when she thinks they’re getting too close. She hates feeling vulnerable, or showing any kind of weakness, and it takes a lot for her to get over her pride and actually ask for help if she needs it. However, she does love kits and tolerates the younger apprentices, though she’ll never admit it to anyone. She can be very stubborn, though she’s also very intelligent, and will begrudgingly cut her losses if she knows that she has no choice but to accept help or aid. When she is with those that she trusts, she’s still gruff, but it’s softer and more fond. She can be playful sometimes, though her sense of humor is dry, sarcastic, and can be dark at times. Under her rough exterior she’s really quite compassionate and caring though she doesn’t show it, and she genuinely cares for the well-being of her friends.
Description: A lean, short-furred she-cat on the taller side with dark grey fur and black tabby markings. She’s long limbed, almost lanky, and has big dark, golden amber eyes. Her left ear is tattered and right ear has a deep notch in it. She has a few prominent scars in her back and shoulders, and a deep, jagged one across her chest. Nightfeather’s paws are also black, with the left hind leg being black up to about half way up the leg.

Other: Saw this an immediately thought of Nightfeather. Maybe she could be a friend/supportive parental type figure to him? They are both a bit anti-social and like to push others away, so maybe they could strike up some sort of friendship. Just a thought!

@Darkclaws I was thinking about the "friend" role. Since Mintpaw and Fishpaw have already met briefly.

I was thinking that maybe Mintpaw can have a talk about the Dark Forest with Slatestripe, with him convincing her that it's a very bad place with cruel cats and so on (Mintpaw doesn't really know anything about this place). I'm not actually sure that Slatestripe thinks that way of the dark forest, so I have to discuss that with @Cherry~ first. I just guessed based on Slatestripe's personality.

Mintpaw could then notice Fishpaw's change and injuries every day in the apprentices' den, and one day decide to ask him about it. How does it sound?
