"Well, they're probably busy a lot." Sunripple said, trying to not worry the apprentice. Then he realized, he had never actually introduced himself. "I'm Sunripple, in case you were wondering." He mewed, trying to sound polite.
After introducing himself, he watched the apprentice follow the scent, stalking close behind.

Riverwood nodded respectfully to Sunripple and headed after her apprentice.

Bumbleshade moved out of camp to the territory to get the rest of his patrol to move to the border, hoping they would all take the hint and follow him. He didn't want them to report that he had disappeared or something.
He recently was assigned to another patrol, so getting this done as soon as he could would be a good thing, right?
He turned to Falconspirit.
"I've never actually done a border patrol before. Could you show me how to mark the borders?"

Bounding out of camp after the two warriors, Lionpaw couldn't help but let out a small cheer. Patrol time! It was patrol time! The apprentice followed after the other two cats eagerly, easily keeping pace with them. The snow was fun to run around in, and she enjoyed the crunching noises it made whenever she stepped in it. As they arrived at the border, she hopped in a circle, giggling at the fun noises the snow made. She had kit-like enthusiasm, but that shouldn't really be all that much of a surprise to her clanmates. Ears peeking as Bumbleshade spoke, she stopped bouncing around and trotted over to the warrior, "Hey hey! Guess what! I can show you! I've been on loads of patrols!" she excitedly chirped to the tom, smiling widely up at him.

Falconspirit padded out of camp after Bumbleshade, watching Lionpaw with amusement. "Su-" His answer to the younger tom's question was interrupted by the overly excited apprentice. He chuckled. Lionpaw sure was something. He would let her try first, because she just seemed so excited about that. @Mumble @Rainquail

Bumbleshade gave Lionpaw and appreciative glance.
"Thanks! Show away, friend."
He turned to Falconspirit long enough to mouth an apology and returned his attention to Lionpaw. At least he had patrol mates who knew what they were doing. It was honestly a relief to not be stranded.

Falconspirit smiled back at Bumbleshade, his smile hopefully saying it's fine. He waited patiently for them to finish, wrapping his twill around his paws. His eyes wandered, looking over the ThunderClan border. @Rainquail @Mumble

Wowie, she was teaching a WARRIOR!! She knew something a warrior didnt! Granted, Bumblshade was still a really new warrior, but a warrior was a warrior! Lionpaw excitedly bounced in a circle around the tom before prancing off to a nearby boulder. Flopping onto her back, she started to roll around on the ground on their side of the border, "Y'see, you gotta leave your scent all over the border by rubbing yourself against something!" she explained, getting up and shaking the snow out of her messy pelt. Sure, she knew that there were easier (and frankly, less messy) ways to mark the border, but rolling around was just super fun! Bounding back over to the two warriors, she grinned proudly up at them, waiting for a response to her wonderful lesson.

Falconspirit watched in confusion. That... was new. But he guessed he shouldn't have been surprised. After a moment, he said, "Good job." It wasn't the way he'd been expecting, and it was a little more messy, but he guessed it would work. He didn't want to hurt Lionpaw's feelings, but he was going to show Bumbleshade a different way. "Here's another way you can do it," he said, marking the border with his scent. @Mumble @Rainquail
