Icestar glanced down at the four mentorless apprentices and gazed across the clearing, looking out for those who she had already chosen for them. Hopefully these mentors would stick around and train them to be full warriors.

"Silentpaw [ @Moonraven ], this is the third mentor I've had to assign you. Whether that's the fault of yours or theirs is beyond me, but here we are again. I'm assigning you to Quailears [ @CheetahPelt ]. I'm sure he can finish your training at last. It's about time.

Ashpaw [ @Skye ], your mentor from today on will be Voleskip [ @Hexict ]. I trust him to pick up wherever you were left off, and to get you fully trained.

Dogpaw [ @S-oft ], I'm assigning you to Grizzlyburr [ @wren ]. Grizzlyburr, I trust you to pass along all your knowledge. Stars know we need more warrior ceremonies around here.

Scorchpaw [ @RedHead ], your new mentor will be Rosedapple [ @Spiderfrost ]. Trail well, and train often. Hopefully he won't give you any trouble.

And Freezepaw [ @RedHead ], I'm giving you Ivyshade [ @PeppermintRabbit ] as a mentor. I'm sure she will teach you everything she knows."

The leader paused, allowing the mentors and apprentices to meet once more. But she didn't wait as long this time before she continued on. She was nearly done with the formalities and could get on to the more important matters.

"We also have a few cats who are rejoining us after going missing, and one cat who wants to join our clan.

Honeypaw [ @DarkNight ], Cardinalpaw [ @Starbot ], and...Owlfeather."
Great, her mother was back. She should've just stayed missing. "I don't know where you have been, and frankly, I don't care. If it was something important, come see me or Beastspark after the meeting, but otherwise, get yourselves readjusted to clan life. Burnetsnap [ @pathos ], you'd better keep a closer eye on Cardinalpaw from now on.

And Honeypaw, I suppose you'll need a new mentor. I'm assigning you to Shadequill [ @Cloudsky ].

And finally, we have Frostpaw [ @bmkmb ] from ThunderClan here, hoping to join us. Please come forward, and tell the clan why you think you'd be suitable for ShadowClan life."

Dogpaw's eyes scanned the clearing desperately to see her new mentor; Grizzlyburr. She paused, the tip of her fathers tail slipping out the clearings entrance made her heart thud hard. Her eyes settled in the tom who had been besides Bumblebelly. She hadn't known him, not yet at least. It wasn't like she spent her time socialising with rather intimidating cats when she had other uses. Dogpaw stepped forward, her paws wiggling and shifting anxiously in the dirt as she watched Girzzlyburr with a burning gaze.

Whiskernose glanced around for an unfamiliar face that should be Frostpaw and felt a twinge of sympathy as she was forced to speak in front of the clan. He never enjoyed public speaking. Ever.

As Icestar works her way through the long list of apprentices who needed mentors, whether it be new or reassignments, Nettlespark's mind wanders to his own. Whitepaw had been assigned to him at the last Clan meeting, but since their patrol the apprentice had practically vanished. After trying to find the younger tom once, the warrior felt disparaged. Whitepaw was on thin ice, and soon the thick-furred warrior would request a separation, seeing as the apprentice clearly had no desire to even show his face. Still tuned out of the meeting going on now, the young warrior wonders if his... Issue was something he should mention to the Clan leader or their deputy. He had been eager to try his paw at training an individual, despite his youth, and this was just... Disappointing.

Blinking, the tom pulls himself out of his own head in time to look for Frostpaw, a ThunderClan traitor. He observes in amusement now, wondering what the young cat would say in response to Icestar.

When Hailstorm saw him hit the ground and not get up, her heart raced with fear. Had she hurt him? Had she gotten carried away? She trotted over to him swiftly.
"Are you alright?" She asked him, her eyes glinting with an almost motherly level of concern.

Honeypaw lazily strolled toward the front and smiled at all the familiar and unfamiliar faces. He tried to look as friendly as he could but the memory of what had happened to him during his time away from camp had taken its toll.

But still he smiled as Icestar mentioned him and he looked toward his new mentor.

Grizzlyburr watched intently as ceremonies were conducted- kittens hitting their apprenticeship stage. Scared.. but excited nonetheless. His face softened with amusement as Bumblebelly slipped from his mind for a moment. That’s when.. me? A mentor? He froze up for a moment and felt himself tense. A mentor. You? He almost laughed out loud. Finally.

The large Tom instantly stood his eyes tracing the crowd. Dogpaw- that was the name. Yes. Flicking an ear the tom took a few steps closer to the high branch before there. The small apprentice was looking straight at him. She looked terrified. His face softened with concern and he plodded over with complete disregard for those around him. “Hello m’dear” his voice was sweet and welcoming. Man... she was going to get training and an earful of stories. He smiled at the idea and reached to gently touch noses. “I know I look scary... But I promise I’m not all that bad. Just give me a chance eh?” @S-oft

Other than being exhausted from the strenuous fight, he was fine..

But, this did give him an idea as Hailstorm drew nearer. He waited until she was within reach before he suddenly shot up, using the last of his energy to propel his body toward Hailstorm's chest.

Rosedapple jolted at the sudden proclamation that she would receive an apprentice. A reassigned apprentice at that. The dark eyes calico turned to her sister in equal part shock and to see if what just happened, happened.

Daisybloom seemed to be bursting with glee as she butt her head at her sisters shoulder.

"Go greet your new apprentice." she pushed.

"Ah, right, yeah...my new apprentice." she hummed, shaking the surprise from her pelt before standing to walk up to the red furred apprentice. She looked down as Scorchpaw and blinked. He was still young, but then again she and Daisybloom weren't particularly large cats, he'd over take her in height surely before his training was completed.

She tilted her head in thought. He was her first apprentice, she may have to ask advice from the larger toms in the clan for tips once he out grows her.

"Scorchpaw, I'll do what I can to prepare you for warrior life. I don't know what training you've had from your previous mentor before they ditched you, but we can figure it out together, sound like a good place to start?" she offered.

Quailears humphed, a smile etching itself onto the senior warrior’s face. He was glad Icestar trusted him. It was a shame that she couldn’t trust other warriors to train these young cats.

Another apprentice entrusted to good ole Quailears. He would train her well. Quailears has churned our good warriors from his mentoring through the moons.

He strode forewords, his short stature jolting to move quickly. The blue and white munchkin came to the front of the clearing, molten orange eyes bright.

He succeeded two other mentors for this young cat. He would finish her off strong.

Quailears shouldered his way to the front of the clearing to greet his apprentice.
