The brown-spotted warrior cautiously made his way into the territory. He limped the whole way there - that grossly scabbed up gash on his back leg still present and beginning to turn brown. It did not bother him at this point, but the limp sure was getting on his nerves. He knew Heatherfur was so busy since the war, and it really wasn't a bother more than the limp, so Chestnutfall wasn't upset over the backed up appointment. It’s not like he was dying. The tom silenced his busy thoughts as he finally approached the designated clearing, squeezing his way between the thick shrubs that secured the area. Cats were already here, and Chestnutfall both was released yet somewhat concerned. There weren't many cats, in fact there were more than he intended to show, but there was just enough to cause a little suspicion in the Clan. In his opinion, anyway. Hobbling over to the circled group, Chestnutfall’s sights rested on the familiar orange pelted cat. Rowanflower. His gaze softened on her and the pain in his leg somewhat lifted a little. She was always a good sight for sore eyes - a friend he could look up to. RiverClan was lucky to have such a good deputy like her, she’d make a lovely leader one day. It was a shame how stressed she’d been since the move. He’d give anything to see that smile she gave the day they walked through the territory together. Hopefully one day after all of this chaos and turmoil, Rowanflower could be happy. And he could be happy, too.

Chestnutfall forced himself to focus as he finally seating himself in the circle of peacemakers. “Greetings, everyone.” The warrior cringed at the pain in his back leg as he tried to sit, but managed to sit down with his injured leg spread out comfortably. “So good to see there are cats here willing to bring a stop to this mouse-brained war.” He looked around to see if there were any cats he could recognize other than Rowanflower, though none sparked his memory. Sure, he’d seen them around camp, but none of them were he close with. This would make a great opportunity to befriend some new Clanmates, though. If any time was a good time to be making allies, it was now. “Will there be more coming?” He kept his voice low and cautious of his surroundings. His journey here was unheard of by any nearby patrols - which he was supposed to be apart of, but Chetsnutfall figured this was more important right now.

Following his clanmates at an ambling pace, the bulky white tom made his way toward the clearing without a word. In the moonlight Plumcloud still appeared at first to be his typical relaxed self, with a billowy tail that swayed casually behind him and gently hooded eyes that glanced up at the familiar faces dotted around the parting in the trees. The only thing that could give away his discomfort was the tensity in his whiskers; sticking straight up from his muzzle like they were pinned that way. Thankful that his nearest duty was a dawn patrol, it wasn't being discovered out of camp that he was worried about, so much as the other cats in attendance. His pale green eyes traced over them, every one against the direction their Leader had pulled them into. There were quite a few younger than he expected but impressive nonetheless, and giving the group a small, reassuring smile he found a nook to sit himself into beside a clock of dandelion as Rowanflower and Chestnutfall greeted them.
"Evening," he replied calmly.

@killer kaleb!

It had been a while. Honeycomb’s short fur was in no great state, but it held under the leaf-fall cold. She was weary, worn, haggard in the aftermath of the war and the need fo flee to a place she’d barely seen, but she was alive. There was something to thank Starclan for, and so she would be alright. Life went on.
That much was true, but there was something the bicoloured molly had been neglecting. Honeycomb kicked a stone as she padded into Riverclan’s temporary camp, idle. She didn’t particularly want to breach the extended ‘We’re-Not-Talking-About-That’ she and Wolfdancer had wordlessly adopted as Riverclan’s currents steered them into wartime, but it was becoming more and more difficult to address the issue.

Not that their complacency was a problem. The war gave her a direction she never particularly had, and besides, she needed time for herself. Time to mull over the past and to reevaluate who she was, to change with the seasons as a warrior must. There were times she did almost regress, yes. Honeycomb looked behind her, stopped in her tracks for a long moment. Her thoughts stalled, but she shrugged it off, turned to camp again.

In stolen moments, when her olive-green eyes searched the home her Clan had whittled out of soulless stone and bloody dirt, she found Wolfdancer at the other end of camp, like their routine was unbroken. Sometimes she found herself steering towards the burly she-cat, legs moving of their own volition, falling into orbit next to her like they used to. Sometimes she curled into her, and just said, “I’m here for you,” and they’d sit in comfortable silence until the evening patrols began. Sometimes, they were just a little more okay, and that was just fine.

But those were all hypotheticals. In reality, she’d steer right out of camp, and go hunting to leave her fattest vole in Wolfdancer’s nest, not as an apology but just an idle reminder that they were fine, and she was just figuring herself out. It kept happening, and she would not resist now. Pawsteps faltering, Honeycomb’s whiskers raised and fell with the occasional blustery winds. She could do it, she guessed. It would be okay to finally come back.

Padding in Wolfdancer’s direction, she raised her ears. Maybe today was her day.

She would blame the land but the silver swirled molly knew it was her own hunting skills that were lacking. If Oakpelt had just trained me like he was supposed to I wouldn't be in this mess. She thought bitterly as she quietly made her way through the territory. Her paws were light but her nose wasn't the sharpest. After being hit in the head during the battle she'd not been able to smell as well as she used to on top of that her head was still hurting. Though she'd refused to see Heatherfur about it, a ripped ear was her only visible damage aside from a few scratches so she didn't want to go bug the medicine cat.
Catching the scent of mouse she stopped and opened her mouth to tell where it was. A shuffle of tiny paws caught her attention, a small brown rodent was nibbling on seeds underneath a holly bush. Lowering herself into a hunter's crouch the small warrior moved slowly forwards laying her paws down lightly. I'll catch this one, I'm not going to let the apprentices feed the Clan. I'm warrior! She thought pulling her paws forward. Jumping for it the silver feline missed it by a near heartbeat. Cursing under her breath Dolphinsplash say up lashing her tail. She'd been so close! With a grunt she continued on but spotted two rogues as she rounded a tree. Puffing up her fur the apprentice sized warrior charged over to them and let out a hiss. "What are you doing on RiverClan territory?!" She demanded lashing get tail behind her.
@Bladeclaw @Fuzzyfeline

( sorry for the wait! I’m swarmed with rps right now ; ; )

Hannah had known Flaze for quite some time now. He was finally someone she could spend time with - someone she could trust. He was a fairly rough tom, but she praised his acceptance of her. Now she had someone to watch her surroundings. Her eyesight had seemed to be getting worse and worse over the moons. She knew deep down that she’d go blind one day, but Hannah preferred to not focus on that right now. She had more important things to learn and take care of. The two rogues were taking a rest beneath an oak tree. They had been doing a lot of traveling this afternoon, so Hannah figured it’d be a good idea to take a rest with the fresh-kill they’d recently caught. She nibbled on her vole, enjoying the peace and quiet. Suddenly, an unknown cat sized up the two of them. Hannah couldn't see who this cat was, but they reeked of the familiar fishy scent of her past. Immediately, Hannah rose to her paws with claws already (naturally) unsheathed. RiverClan territory?!” The tortoiseshell she-cat hissed. “You must be lost, little one. This is the Dusk Syndicate’s old territory. We have every right to be here, Clanner!” Her slitted orange orbs were blazing with hatred. If there was anything more she despised than a Clan cat, it was a RiverClan cat. “I might as well slit your tiny throat open right here!” Her tail lashed just as aggressively behind her own lowered figure - fur all puffed out in irritation. “Flaze, what do ya say? Should we demolish this pretty little apprentice?” Her voice still hunted in a low hiss, but was smoother like honey when speaking towards her rogue companion. She awaited her older friend’s signal, trying to ignore every fiber in her being that told her to just murder Dolphinsplash right then and there.

It made her look a little more chubby compared to her usual squishy appearance, but she didn't mind. She had been feeling down, of course there was a perfectly good reason for it. She had only one kit left out of her previous litter, all the others deceased and or disappeared. She figured it was because she wasn't meant to be a mother, that Starclan told her she wasn't good enough, and she took it to heart. She didn't leave her nest for days, refusing to eat anything, sobbing quietly to herself as she tried so hard to stitch the pieces of her broken heart back together. But it wasn't just her heart that was broken. It was her soul as well, with each death of her precious kits, it felt like a chunk of her soul was ripped from her very being, the part that she poured into her precious kits. It still made her tear up just thinking about it, but then again she was a bit of a cry baby wasn't she?

With a sniffle the queen waddled towards the fresh kill pile, feeling hungry for once. However on her way there, she saw one of her sons, in fact, it was her only living son, her only living child. Sapphire hues widened and she began to waddle towards the brown and cream apprentice, a big smile plastered on her face. She knew how he felt towards her, how could she not when he didn't even try to hide his disgust? Spotted paws gently padded against the dirt trodden ground, tail flicking side to side as she attempted to get there quickly, without managing to tip over. "Wasppaw! Hello my darling. Are you alright? I didn't see you after the battle I've been so worried!" she yipped, a bit of sadness dripped from her voice. Foamflower knew that he hated her, she couldn't blame him either. She had let her other children die, she wasn't fast enough to save them, wasn't strong enough, wasn't smart enough. She wasn't enough. Frankly, she knew she never would be, no matter how many times Standingsea said she was perfect, that she was amazing, the perfect queen, the best mother. It didn't bring back her dead babies. She gave her son a hopeful smile, eyes danced with worry. Worry, sadness, and hope. She didn't want him to love her again, she didn't even mind if he didn't consider her to be his mother, she just wanted to talk with her son again, hear that he's doing alright, that he's okay and alive and safe. That's it.
wasppaw didnt react when his mother came prancing over to him as if she were allowed. honestly, if she died, he couldnt care. it was hard for him to feel anything anymore, but he was slowly... learning how to look like he was feeling something, to not seem like an outcast. when she spoke to him he simply turned his head slowly, looking her up and down for a moment. another litter? would he be an older brother again? she couldnt bring back her first litter, much less another. she was an excuse of a mother. ¨are you talking to me?¨ he mewed calmly, head held high as if he had some sort of authority, a privilege over her. blue eyes slitted he spoke again,¨im not as pathetic as the rest of your first litter, to just die off or run away.¨ his words were thick and stung as painful as a snake bite with a hiss right after. he meant his words, too. every memory he had with them were useless, they did nothing but held him back, thats all that kits did, he didnt see why people were happy to have them besides furthering their genetic pool.

the war.
there was something about it that was wolfdancers calling. its where she earned her suffix - dancer, being graceful and skilled on the battle field in an almost dance like way. it doesnt sit well with her that they did not win, but riverclan will rise again, they had never been one to cower in a corner and take hits like that. they would rise again and again. as for wolfdancer, she was starting to rise herself. thick fur had grown all over the scars she earned herself in the darkforest, covering them completely as if they had never been there. but wolfdancer knew. there was no taking those scars back, but like plants, after some rain they will grow new again into something worth while.

things were..calm, like the eye of a storm, she was keeping herself busy with peacerally meetings instead of focusing too much on herself, but there were some moments shed let herself indulge. whether that was the feeling of honeycomb under her chin for a few moments before patrols, or the soft hello, or waking up to a vole in her nest, it was the little things that kept her going and reminded her of why she was living. it weird, that a few seasons ago honeycomb had been the reason she had been wanting to die, but now she is the reason she wants to live. theyre growing together.

she potted the ginger mixed molly approach her slowly, and she dipped her head that it was okay to come over, her smile gentle and sincere.

Wavefang sniffed indignantly, stepping into the unfamiliar area that was now their territory. How dare the other clans drive them out, they had no right to do that. Others had suggested that they hunt, those silly cats. How many times must she remind them that she didn't do the work, others did the work for her. She strutted forward, her chest puffed out confidently as she sent demeaning glances back and forth at the other cats. Many didn't respect her for the mastermind she was, but they would soon. She would instruct her pawns to the way to victory, and they would worship her like they do StarClan... they better. "This stupid excuse for a territory is so suffocating, it's unacceptable," she announced to no one in particular, resenting them for not listening to her. She could say that she had an influence over some cats, though. She had them wrapped around her paw, they would do anything for her. Smirking from her methodical daydreams, she continued to walk forward, ignoring the cold rocky ground that was underneath her paws. Wavefang sat down and surveyed the area, mentally critiquing everyone in the area. Her fur was too messy, he was hunting with amateur techniques, the list could go on and on. She rolled her head around on her shoulders, stretching out the dull pain at the base of her neck. Blinking slowly, she sighed, her breath making the faintest cloud of air on the cold leaf-fall day. I hate this. It wasn't supposed to go this way" she muttered to herself. Shaking her head, she reflected on all the things that every single other cat in all the clans did; it was obviously their faults. If they would've listened to her, they wouldn't be in this mess. Of course it didn't occur to her that she could be one of the ones in the wrong, after all, that would be impossible. She was never wrong... never.

It was hard to look over how tense everyone was. So tense the air was practically crackling with static due to it. Especially the apprentices and Rowanflower. He figured the deputy wanted to make sure everyone was calm before the meeting officially began. She must have a lot on her plate right now. Having to hide these meetings from Fallenstar, and gather enough cats to attend the peace rallies. Not to mention, it is hard enough being an apprentice in normal situations. But in war times, it was difficult to picture what they must be going through. How hard training must be, or when they'll be granted warrior ceremonies. Sizzlingstorm knew he was on the younger side of the group, but felt pretty level-headed. Experience or no, he felt it was good for a least a few cats here to show that even though things are tough, its okay. He was tense himself but didn't show it that much. His orange fur was on end and his muscles were tight. Eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

The russet-orange tom settled himself between Rowanflower and a couple apprentices. The young warrior took this opportunity to see who all was attending. He nodded in greeting toward Blisterningstone, Mikadopaw, Rowanflower, and a few others. He wasn't too surprised to recognize his father here. Honestly, he couldn't blame any of them for risking their pelts to come to the meeting. Stealing moments away, gathering up enough free time no questions would be asked. He even had a few great excuses if he were caught. For example, he could be investigating the territory or night hunting. Thinking towards more pressing matters, he sighed. Fallenstar needed to get his act together, uselessly dragging the entire clan into this mess wasn't the wisest decision in his opinion. Neither was taking it so far that Riverclan was kicked out of their home. Now they had to make do with this horrible smelling piece of territory. Rivers weren't even decent that ran through it. He flicked his tail, patiently waiting until the more serious discussions began.

Lunakit looked around, fully aware that she was not supposed to be out of the nursery without her mother, and padded forward, along the edges of the camp.

Jaguarfang licked the mouse blood off of his whiskers, buried his prey, then padded on. suddenly, he caught a scent that should not be there.
