Sharkpaw hesitated to go gather around the cats, Dawnstar seemed pretty angry at something. The apprentice caustically padded out of the apprentice den, awaiting what the ShadowClan leader had to say.

The gray-furred she-cat walked tiredly over to the Shadowledge, and sat next to Brackentail, her mentor. "Man, why does Dawnstar have to call a meeting when everyone is tired, kinda fur-brained," she grumbled. Her blue eyes looked up to the ledge.
She began to groom her paw while she waited for the meeting to start.
Whispering vine silently padded over to the rock , he had heard the call of the leader earlier but was slightly a little late to arriving , the tom sat down his dark green eyes stared blankly , he was listening.
--Vixenpaw--
The molly padded out of the apprentices' den at Dawnstar's yowl, her ears perked in interest. The leader seemed a bit more agitated than usual, but nothing to cause the clear discomfort displayed by her Clanmates. Had she missed something while she had been napping?
--Badgerscar--
The scarred tom watched with a scowl on his face as his mother seemed to have a fit of anger before finally calling a meeting. She had mellowed out these past moons, but clearly something had triggered this old behavior. He couldn't say whether this would be a good or a bad thing, but the warrior would know shortly once the meeting got started.

It felt like there had been a lot of meetings called lately. Ivypaw, who had been grooming her dark brown tabby fur in the clearing, lifted her head to find Dawnstar pacing on the limited space of the Shadowledge. It was clear that her leader was unhappy. The growl followed by a sigh, her puffed-out pelt, those long black talons that scratched and left indents on the stone. Ivypaw stood up and padded over to the Shadowledge, curiosity plain in her sharp amber gaze. Why was Dawnstar so ruffled?
Goldenstep slipped silently out of the nest then out of the nursery. Dawnstar's call was for warriors and apprentices, that in itself made Goldenstep's pelt crawl with anxiety. She was not currently a part of that group but her mate and three of her kits were along with her father and brother. She sat down just outside the nursery and wrapped her tail around her paws.

Gingercry stood from his nest in the warrior's den, grimacing at the ache in his joints. Then he padded out into the clearing to take in the gathering cats. Dawnstar was pacing atop the Shadowledge. Something had clearly agitated her. He stretched as deep as his aching muscles would allow then joined the cats beneath the shadowledge.

Pigeonpaw ran over to the Shadowledge. She's calling only warriors and apprentices?! Something must be going on! She was excited that Dawnstar's call included her now, just another opportunity for her to maybe notice Pigeonpaw and decide to make her a warrior!
