Frostfang pulled the apprentice away from the river, and placed him in the warmest spot he could find, an abandoned badger sett. He yowled out to the other older cats that he had found Owlpaw. He couldn't stay with the young cat and he couldn't take him back to camp, if Snowpaw was possibly still in the river they'd need everyone searching.
Frostfang gave Owlpaw a quick wash to get rid of the water on his pelt so he wouldn't freeze, then trotted quickly back out to the river, covering the badger sett with a leafy branch to further protect Owlpaw from the weather. "Snowpaw!" He yowled. "Snowpaw? Call out to us if you can hear!" He then continued down the river to find the young cat.

Snakestar ran over and looked at his son, "Snowpaw might be by the river, everyone look along the river!"

Frostfang sniffed around, trying to pick up any scent but the smell of the river over powered his senses. He slipped on the rocks as he padded along the bank for the white apprentice.
