A Hazelpaw Plot
Almondkit has always had this one close but oh-so ignorant friend, [RiverClan she-kit]. However, much to everyone's surprise, Almondkit has never had any trouble accepting her friend's stubborn demeanor. Maybe she just had a rough start to life.
However, once Almondkit, now Hazelpaw, becomes an apprentice, she begins to realize she has a genuine crush on [RiverClan she-kit]. As a result, though, she only proceeds with ignoring her apathetic friend, simply because she gets embarrassed when hanging around her. And so Hazelpaw starts to hang exclusively with her other friends, unintentionally triggering [RiverClan she-kit]'s jealousy.
This all eventually leads up to [RiverClan Apprentice] attacking one of [Hazelpaw's Close Friend] atop a hill and purposely nearly maiming them to death.
Unfortunately for [RiverClan she-kit], though, Hazelpaw witnesses everything unfold from behind a tree. Uh-oh.
About a week later, [Hazelpaw's Close Friend] dies of his wounds. This infuriates Hazelpaw, causes her to absolutely despise [RiverClan Apprentice] and question her own life decisions...
That's it. It was time. Hazelpaw's friend was dead and it was all because of some bratty apprentice she had once had the gut to call a "friend." And so the only solution? Well, eventually Hazelpaw finds herself and her [RC Witness] patrolling the borders one sunny day. However, after some time [RiverClan Apprentice] stumbles into the two and attacks Hazelpaw. After a few moments of tussling with her former friend, Nutmegpaw accidentally ends up killing [RiverClan Apprentice] as a result of sheer self-defense. This all leads up to Hazelpaw being sent into a spiraling state of absolute depression.
Well, in the end, at least her problems were solved.
