Floppy ears twitched as the large feline flung his head from one twig snap, to the next crunching of snow. Granted he knew that the myths and legends of this headless cat weren't true, at least that's what he was telling himself,....but that didn't mean it was any less scary! However, this place seemed to be a good spot to hunt considering many cats didn't come here...the Warrior couldn't think of a single reason why.

Mist rolled around the tree littered terrain, the sun covered by one of the many clouds in the sky. An overall wet consistency clung to the air. Made his fur very fluffy. He'd asked Goosefury if he wanted to go hunting with him. A. Because this place was scary, but also because he just really liked spending time with the tom.

Rowanmist still couldn't understand why his clanmates viewed the other as scary or intimidating. Yes, he was very cool, and inspirational, but not scary! His eyes lit up just thinking about it, tail thwapping against the damp ground.

Goosefury glanced warily at the dark trees around him. The blanket of mist and the carpet of snow that invited only silence - both added to the uneasiness that made the fur along his spine raise. He wasn't the religious type, not in the slightest. The Clans' ideas of the afterlife had never really appealed to him. But this neck of the woods made even Goosefury nervous.

The scarred tom cringed as a twig snapped beneath his paw, half-expecting that ghost they always whispered about to flicker past, but instead he caught sight of Rowanmist through the undergrowth. Judging by the way the other tom's tail tapped frantically against the ground, his friend was just as excited as always.

Taking a moment to stamp down his unease and take on a relaxed expression and stature, Goosefury made his way over and nudged the tom with his shoulder with a hint of a teasing smile. "Even with the possibility of a headless ghost wandering around, you just can't seem to sit still, can you?"

Turning around swiftly as he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder, fur fluffing up a bit. He wasn't expecting the tom to come from behind! His smile kept, however, letting out a soft laugh the Warrior tilted his head to the side. "Nope. You were on your way, so it was very hard not to be excited." he hummed. Swinging his whole weight to the right, swiveling on two paws, the larger feline started padding further into the Woods.

"This would be a good place to hunt, right? Since not that many of our Clanmates come out here." he thought aloud, turning to look back at Goosefury. Just as he thought, 'Of course he wasn't scared of a ghost! Just as brave as he'd always been.' "Or do you think we should go somewhere else?" he paused, looking behind him.

"Oh oh! What if we started making cute little snow faces on some rolled up snow balls!" he suggested with a chirp. "Maybe than more cats would come this way."

He staggered back with a snort to avoid being knocked over as Rowanmist swung around on two paws. "Oh, so I'm the reason you're excited? Wow, that's a first." He turned to follow the other tom deeper into the forest. It wasn't the worst place in the world, but it definitely wasn't his favorite.

"It's up to you," he answered with a shrug. "This spot is about as good as any other to me." Everything looked the same - dark, creepy, ghostly. Haunted. He gave the trees a critical look, as if trying to spot the infamous spirit for himself. Nothing so far.

He turned back to Rownmist, torn ear twisting to the side. "Snow balls... with faces on them?" It sounded like exactly the sort of idea Rowanmist would come up with. Really weird, and super unnecessary, but also weirdly adorable in a strange sort of way. "I doubt there would be anyone out here but the ghost to enjoy them - and it doesn't even have a head, apparently - but go for it."

The tabby looked back at his best friend, a soft smile planted on his maw. At Goosefury's retort he let out an airy giggle. "It's not the first. I'm always happy whenever I'm around you." he confessed nonchalantly, tail flicking back and fourth.

As he was told to make the choice the larger tom paused for a second, placing a paw gently on his cheek. "Hmm. Let's stay here than!" he chirped, the expression of thought replaced with that of joy once more. "Besides, I kind of want to see the ghost anyways. Don't you think it'd be cool?" he offered. He'd heard so many stories about it, yet never seen it. It was a goal for the Warrior.

"Goosefury! You're so smart!" he gasped, his voice still soft even while 'shouting.' "Wanna help me make some heads for the headless spirit? Surely than it'll be nice to our clan. Since so many are scared of it." the russet feline didn't even wait for the other to finish. Finding a smallish pebble he began to roll it around in the snow. However he pushed to hard, and the semi formed snowball was crushed.

"Oh dang." he pouted.
