This is for something small to stir some things about around WindClan following Cowtuft's exile.
Fleckstorm isn't happy at all with how it went down, and they need to let some frustrations out. Despite the fact that ShadowClan has largely left WindClan alone in the last several moons, Fleckstorm really doesn't trust them.
Luck is on Fleckstorm's side, though, because on a hunt with
WindClan warrior, they run into a
ShadowClan warrior on the border. This ShadowClanner starts immediately by hurling insults, and it sets Fleckstorm off. In a fit of anger, they cross the border and kill the cat before their partner or their target can even do anything in response. Though horrified, Fleckstorm's hunting partner helps to clean the blood off of them before returning to camp.
Unbeknownst to Fleckstorm and their partner, however, a
second ShadowClan warrior arrived just in time to witness their Clanmate's end. They're free to do as they wish with this.
