With all of the chaos and negativity that RiverClan had been through, Fadingsun was itching for something where everyone could just relax. He knew that was a tall feat for this Clan these days, but stars he wanted to try. It was at least better than sitting in his den contemplating whether he really was capable of being the savior RiverClan desperately needed.

Leaping atop the Floodstone (he did enjoy being able to do that whenever he wanted), he called, "RiverClan! The weather is nice today, so we're going out to Haven Springs for a little picnic. Every cat may pick a piece of prey from the pile to bring along, or you can hunt when we're there. Just please don't waste the food you bring!"

With that said, he leapt off the Floodstone and waited at the camp entrance for whoever would join.

[ This is intended to be a light-hearted, low-key event for anyone who wants to participate! Your cats are encouraged to socialize with anyone else who is participating, especially those they don't know too well! Think of this like a fun little bonding event, if anything.

I am going to respectfully ask that all participants aim to keep IC drama out of this event. This is intended to be a space where people can have light-hearted and relaxing RPs amidst all that's been going on. There are plenty of other spaces in RiverClan for drama

Blizzardpaw happily bounded over. A clan bounding event! What a great idea. She looked over to the prey pile. I'll let the kits and queens take the prey. I should be able to hunt some myself. Even with what little I've been taught.. she thought to herself, eventually following Fadingsun to the camp entrance.

With all the things happening, the leadership change, having an apprectice who hadn’t shown up for training for stars knows how long (probably not.. that long but still. Felt like ages.) Losing Dandelion, Flutter Paw, all of his kits, every mate he’s ever had and going through a whirlwind of emotions on a daily basis he heard the sound of a picnic and thought instantaneously. Why not? Socialise with the fellow warriors and apprentices around him, relax and breathe for once, and maybe even extend his pathetic friend count by 1 or two! He debated catching his own prey, perhaps finding himself some hunting expert to help sharpen his skills well he was at it. Although he would curl into a ball with embarrassment if he was too clumsy to catch anything at the very least he’ll be confident enough with every-cat in such a good mood to try again till he got it! Garlic Feather eagerly made his way over to attend, he hadn’t had a bad day for a sunrise or two so his hopes were high and his spirits higher, which he was attempting to make the most of!

Brighnight grabbed Summerpaw's large carp. Padding into the area and sitting in a sunny spot. The large queen wrapped her tail around her belly and settled down.

Stickpaw had not been paying attention, she was busying lying down in the clearing edge. So when Fadingsun jumped atop the large rock, her ears perked. His words were joyful at least. It made a smile grow on their face. He stands up, paws in motion as they search for the target of today. Cobwebpaw! Aha! His new friend, she flicks her tail the grey cat. Smile planted widely in their face. He lets their tail lash in the faint breeze.

Fur protecting her from it, it was nice out for once. “Cobwebpaw!” She mews, trying to grab the older cat’s attention. “Would you like to walk with me? I can carry our prey to save you the load!” Yay!!!! Stickpaw giggles as she ends their sentence. Awaiting the other cats answer. Wooooo! Today was going to be cheerful, great and super cool!

Owltalon trotted over excitedly. Anything that had food involved was ultimately a yes for her, but it was also just such a cute idea! Plus, she wouldn't mind a few lighthearted conversations. Exactly what Riverclan needed.

Picnic? The anxious tom couldn't help but perk his ears in interest. Well... Why not? Socializing was still a pain in his tail, a huge pain, but he also knew next to no-cat in the clan. I mean, he knew them but hardly anyone knew him. Alright, time to get himself out there...

Oh thank the stars! Marigoldkit had been STARVING. This is just what she needed. Not that being hungry bothered her, infact the want for food was almost unnoticeable at this point. But, that was probably a bad sign, really bad. The last thing Marigoldkit wanted to be was malnourished. Also, friends!

Adderpaw was getting tired of being in camp since forever and a day so this sounded amazing. Unfortunately there was no work involved with this, this felt weird and unnatural to her. Perhaps she would learn how to relax without feeling guilty. Swiftly she went over to snag a nice trout. Oh so delicious and fresh tasting, all the other clans were really missing out on fishes. She almost felt sad for them if they weren't usually jerks.

Honeystep and Sharkhail heard the call and grew curious. A picnic? That sounded nice. So the two warriors joined up with their prey of choice.
