Elkjump had to start training Daffodilpaw, he could not procrastinate anymore. “U-uh, Daffodilpaw, are you up?" He prodded the apprentice lightly with a paw, hoping she stayed asleep. @Luna16

There her prey was, firmly in her sights. The mouse's fluffy newleaf fur looked so soft as it nibbled it's little seed it was almost too cute. Almost...almost there.... She crept up on it slowly...slowly...and-

Daffodilpaw jumped to her paws, tail waving wildly. It took her a second to blink the dream away from her eyes and remember where she was, the apprentice's den! She turned to see the cat who woke her was Elkjump, her mentor. Immediately, she beamed and bounced in her spot to turn and face him. "G'morning, Elkjump! Are we training today? What we training for?" She crouched into a playful bow and wriggling her haunches. "Hunting? Combat? Ooooo please say we're training!"

Uh-oh, Daffodilpaws excited. Which meant more dread for Elkjump. “Oh,I thought I'd show the territory today, if that's alright with you." Please say yes, please say yes.
Elkjump swayed his tail nervously

Daffodilpaw wasn't completely oblivious to her mentor's nervous mannerisms, but she was completely blind to the fact that she was the cause of it. "Oooo a territory tour! Yes please!" She mewed excitedly. A tour was a wonderful way to start her training.

Daffodilpaw bounded happily after his mentor, often bouncing from one side to the other. She was careful to avoid obstacles, but didn't mind her pawsteps too much since they weren't on a hunting patrol. "Where are we going first, Elkjump?" She mewed excitedly.

Daffodilpaw gave a little bounce of joy at Elkjump's response. She hadn't seen all of the borders yet, and couldn't help feeling excited. The energy felt like it was bunching under her muscles, ready to burst! But she knew better than to hare off without her mentor. "Where to first?" She asked, beaming up at Elkjump with her usual bright smile.
