hello, hello! so, here's the thing. wolfie has had the itch to have his own kit finder but none of my characters are candidates. kind of. see, wormbite is terrified of becoming a father and in current time he's unable to have biological kits. he's also gay. HOWEVER. there was a period of time of where he was first kidnapped by twolegs that leaves an opening. plus, i get to revamp an old plotline & get cute wormkids so. now ahem, the Context.
rather soon after wormbite first became a lionheart, he got a wee beat up during a battle and earned himself some not good wounds. they ended up getting infected and while he eventually sought medical attention the infection ended up returning & getting worse. he in general wasn't stable and his worsening physical state had him a bit delirious. wormbite regularly explored riverclan territory and a bit of the outskirts 'n ends up getting .. captured! said twolegs were mainly there to visit and tldr, they adopt him and take him back to their actual house which is far, far far from riverclan. (happened around june 24th 2020)
unable to escape, the twolegs attempt to domesticate him despite being incredibly feral. eventually, leaving him be and confined to a safe area. however despite his adverseness to his captors, wormbite eventually built a gradual frenemy relationship with the only other cat there. said cat was a kittypet named rune! (credit to discord channel for creating said kittypet)
rune is a large purebred siberian who is a sunshine (bimetal) silver tabby with medium-length wiry fur. it has green & yellow eyes and has a large array of costumes its twolegs dress it up in. its favorite depends on the day but it is either a large, pink bowtie collar or a confetti-patterned tie. it is three moons older than wormbite. it is non-binary and uses it/its.
over the course of the moons they get closer and closer and develop a mutual crush on each other. though, worm is unaware of this until the twolegs bring them back to the house wormbite was previously captured at. it finally clicks inside his head that he is hesitating leaving bc oh boy, he may like this cat?? and its a KITTYPET????? JAW DROP.
cue freakout which leads to him confessing. they get in an argument but eventually it fades into wormbite admitting he needs to go back to his clan, no matter his own feelings. they come to a stalemate and decide to savor what time they had with each other until an opportunity to escape presented itself. anndd soon it did! silly little twolegs leave a window open and underestimate wormbite's ability to tear through a screen and he makes his escape back home! (around may 12th 2021)
of course, what he & rune weren't aware is that they were going to be expecting kits. when rune does figure this out it decides to keep this knowledge to itself, knowing that wormbite would still likely choose his clan. it shares what knowledge it has about wormbite & the clans to its kits but always exchanges one truth for a lie -- that instead of being alive he was long gone.
aandd wormbite still has absolutely no idea he has kits of his own running around. i think it would give him a heartattack. but if his kits are going to be existing, i need to figure out who they are and who's going to roleplay them!! so.. kit finderrr! there aren't many guidelines for applying, but please keep these things in mind:
-- wormbite would've been around twenty-four (i think) when the kits were born and he is currently fifty-six so these kits should be somewhere around thirty-two moons.
-- i imagine the twolegs regularly visit nearby the clans so, its completely possible for them to be in a clan. or you can 'em be a kittypet/loner, really whatever! just keep in mind that if they haven't joined recently then they are probably aware wormbite is alive yet haven't confronted him. UNLESS, said kit had been separated/adopted out from the family and therefore was never told.
-- i'm up for wormbite finding out in the future, but he is unlikely to be very fatherly. he feels incredibly adverse against pretty much any cat not in riverclan, though while i think he would be softer on his own kits if they proved they knew who rune was - he'll be riddled with guilt for accidentally being like his own father and said shame will keep him from keeping a consistent connection.
-- please keep it somewhat semi-realistic in regards to genetics! wormbite is a (give or take a few other breeds probs) oriental shorthair (his mom was a rc warrior and pure black with blue eyes) x american curl (dad was a loner and a silver tabby with golden eyes) mix. he's a black cat with vilitgo & is blind from genetic cataracts. his eyes are a light amber and he's incredibly tall + lean. (reference here) rune is described above and looks similar to this. *kits are unlikely to have white spotting unless they inherited wormbite's vitiligo !
-- please please please PLEASEE be somewhat active. they don't need to be super active characters, but i would really love for them to stick around and have their own story no matter how minimal !! ;w; pls . these will be the only wormkits i get ok

the amount of kits depends solely on the amount of interest shown but they'll probably be 4-8 slots open or smaller ! i also have hypokit designs down below, but you are absolutely not required to use them!

Clan: ShadowClan Personality: Little bit unsure of himself, he was spurred on to come to the clans from the stories of his father. He is proud of the suffix “ripple” because it reminds him of the clan his father comes from. However, he tends to be a little more shy, skittish, and anxious. Personality
Perigune is a cat riddle with mystery and enigmatic charm. They've always been the quiet and reserved type ever since kithood, barely speaking to strangers and being wary of all life surronding her. She prefers solitude as they find others...uninteresting to say the least. This mortal realm hardly captures her attention with it's dull and boring order. The spirtual realm, however is an entirely different story. As soon as Perigune was first introduced to death she developed a morbid curiosity with it. Where did they go? How did they leave this world? Could the living reach it? Who ruled over the afterlife? All these questions flooded their mind and became the sole focus of her previously average life. And as her fascination with death grew, her regard for the living faded. Cruelty, it could be called, the way they act towards others. She does not care about them and will gladly use them by any means necessary to research her inspiration. Perigune aims to assist with the reaper's work and maybe become death herself. Sacrifices will be made but all is worth it in their twisted mind.
Independence is something that Perigune has always held as her right. No one shall drag them down or claim ownership over them. Their life and choices are their own. She'll trust her own judgement and despises anyone trying to convince her of following their rule. What is she a mere servant? That will never be their title. A rebel at heart, they deny any social order forced upon her with violent prostest. They'll set the world alight in an instance rather than bow down to another being. Perigune is self sufficient, she can protect, feed and care for themself and does not need to rely on others unless in dire situations; even then she'll be defiant and ungrateful. They sought to seperate themselves from a young age from their family, setting out to be free of mortal bounds and travel the land as a free spirit. She learned quickly, through trial and error, albeit. They've gained a sense of arrogance due to this which can leave them idolising themselves as the model of a cat that paved their own way through life with a fire in their soul that nobody can diminish.
Though a rare occurance, Perigune may fight for others' freedom if she sees corruption in a system but only if they show a thirst to rule their own lives and not just sit back and accept their fate. If they see an opportunity with cats ready to fight for their rights, she could be tempted to lend a paw. In the midst of this brooding cat is a philosophical mind, brimming with self earned knowledge that could be shared. Perigune has valuable guidance to offer who truly seek it out and will help send them on a path of full and utter rampancy. It is extremely unlikely she will stick around after their independence has been won yet if they see something that is worth staying for, there is a chance she could stay fo her own benefit, though still standoffish a bit softer with a teaching role. Education is something every cat should have after all, preferably it should be earned yet in some cases gifted. Perigune would be subtly pleased to share what she knows despite their fiery soul and cold bite.
Backstory
Perigune had lived the life of a kittypet. Growing up surronded by luxuries and peace in their childhood. This was all the average cat yearned for was it not? Yet she was unsatisfied. She felt like a prisoner in a palace designed to shelter them from the darkness she so desperately sought out. It was excruciating. Whenever they manged to escape the coddling she endured they would take in all the tradegies and tribulations she could find. And finally they found something worth breaking away from this dull life.
The ember of hatred in her heart flourished into a full blown inferno, devouring all the restrictions placed on her from birth. They were not free, and they were not enlightened. All she knew was as much as the average housecat and questionable information about her father. The small pieces of knowlege Rune gifted her were mostly ignored with uninterest. He was insignificant, why should they care?
With no lingering love left for her parent and littermates she took off and never looked back. It was a rough couple of moons learning how to adapt from being a twoleg pet to a strong loner, yet they survived. After some time of roaming, they would eventually catch wind of a strange phenomenon: Cats dying and coming back to life. This sparked their obsession and she immediately travelled to the place where she heard about this occurence. Now they lurk around the clans, looking for the perfect opportunity to discover this miracle and infiltrate this strict order.
note that i am just applying her, as if she gets accepted it would create a huge plot twist in that she and fading would not be blood related (which i've already talked about with occultation!).
the blue eyes she has could've come from his mama's side perhaps owo
to add some extra spice, if she's selected i plan to implement something in her backstory where memories of being told her father resides in riverclan to be wiped due to some sort of accident! however the connection she feels to riverclan will remain
she would've been separated from rune early on to keep in tact that she traveled with fadingstar prior to the duo joining riverclan (and as far as she is concerned he's her brother despite knowing they're not blood related) but wow what a shocker would it be for her to learn not only worm is her father in the future but she has other siblings
