Even in this lawless world, kindness can bloom.
Maybe... There's hope for us, after all.
However...
I know I won't be there to see it.

Q: The death object is what they wake up with correct, and is it like a tattoo of sorts?
A: That is correct, but it isn't a tattoo. However, it can be a feather, a flower, or anything else.
Q: Are they just roaming around, or are they in organized groups like clans and when they get angry they kill each other?
A: They begin in a Clan until an event occurs that separates the Clan, making them all lose their memories (except their names) and causes some of the cats to go insane. And as the HRs die, their is no form of leadership to stop them. Therefore, it becomes a lawless, broken world.
Basically this is a lawless world where it really is "kill or be killed", and everyone woke up the next day if they die. But there's a catch: Everytime someone dies, they awaken with something (In this example case a flower) somewhere on them. And when they get fully covered, it would be their last life.

(I don't think eagle talons are the best object for that... Eagle feathers can work tho! And in response to your question, they begin in a Clan until an event occurs that separates the Clan, making them all lose their memories (except their names) and causes some of the cats to go insane.
