To be perfectly honest, being sick
sucks. Here he is at ThunderClan's little quarantine camp medicine den, and even here, while he's coughing and wheezing and there literally blood every time he sneezes, he
still has to work. Oh, and
not to mention the ratking. He never wants to think of that ever again. And the dumb prophecy patrol isn't back yet, so they still don't have a cure for whatever this horrid, energy sucking, head pounding pain in the ass disease is. He
hates it. He hates that he can't even help that much because he still doesn't know enough. If only he had learnt more, if only he could
learn faster.
Settling in to sleep tonight doesn't come easy, twice he comes moments away from drifting off only to be woken by coughing fits again. Eventually, though, he does drift off, and when he blinks his eyes again, he's at the Seastones. Except his viewpoint is different than normal - he's sitting on the medicine cat's perch. Of course, the view from here is something completely fabricated, he has no idea what it
actually looks like to look below from the low perch. But as he blinks, taking in the mass of faceless cats below him, a feeling he hadn't felt in a while surges through the tabby's veins.
Pride.
Ambition and pride are his forever friends, always by his side. It's incredibly annoying having to sit in the crowd below him now when his
real place was up here, with the medicine cats. He can't help but grin as his dream gives him a glimpse into what should be - what
will be. And then he glances to the cats next to him. The cats that should be faceless. But one wasn't.
It was that... Cobweb.. something or other. RiverClan's newest medicine apprentice. The other tripod. Hollowpaw doesn't know anything about her aside from her rather...
ahem unprofessional outburst at the last gathering. Aside from that..... what on earth was she doing in his dream.
"What're you doing in my dream?" He questions bluntly, eyes narrowed and tail tip twitching.
