* She padded around the clearing she called home. She was pacing around. her stomach growled at her, but she stifled it. She turned and started to pad away and into the undergrowth. She came upon the trace of mouse and stalked it for a good bit. She stopped when a rustling sounded nearby. She quickly hid and watched from an overgrown bush. *

Where was she at? The was the question that replayed in Ratflame's head as she cautiously moved through the undergrowth. It all started with her deciding to take a little walk out of camp, catch some prey on the way and go back to camp. Simple right? Apparently not, because somehow Ratflame had ended up lost. Her, lost? How embarrassing was that? Getting lost was something an apprentice did, not a warrior. She shook herself out of her thoughts, she could fret later, for now she needed to find her way back before it got too dark to see her paws in front of her face.

* She watched the cat pad past her and caught the scent of Shadowclan. She quietly got up and softly mewed to the cat. Her helpful traits overriding her fear. *
" H-hello? A-are you lost? "

Ratflame spun around almost immediately. Scared? No, being scared wasn't in her traits, she was simply startled that's all. Giving herself a shake off, she gave the stranger a quick once over. "Could you repeat that?" Ratflame looked into some of the surrounding foliage, just to make sure this wasn't some kind of set up... At the same time though this cat didn't look like she'd do something like that, but looks could always be deceiving so no harm in staying alert.

" I-i asked if you were lost. I-i know how to get back to the S-shadowclan border... "

Ratflame's ears perked up at the mention of Shadowclan. It was such a nice thought to offer a stranger... Maybe too nice... Nope, she ignored those thoughts and gave the stranger a slow nod. No reason to view this cat in a bad light, buuut she'd keep her guard up. Just in case! "That'd be much appreciated. Thank you."

* She flicked her tail and turned to pad in somewhat the same direction that Ratflame came in. *
" I-it's this way. I-i know a quick way to get there. "
* She looked up at the darkening sky and sighed. *
" I-it'll be to dark to see where we are going. I-i know a place nearby that we can use to wait till day. "

Ratflame turned to follow the stranger, she really needed to stop referring to this cat as simply stranger, a name would work. Would it be awkward asking for the name of a cat she has only known for like a few minutes? "Hey, what's your name?" Jeez, talk about blunt sounding.

Emerald? That was different, new if you would. Ratflame looked up, sure enough it was going to be dark soon. It sucked that she wouldn't be back in her nest back at camp but she supposed it was better than the chance of being caught by some rabid fox or something. She shrugged off the thought. "Emerald is a unique name."
