Eyes and ears having opened just recently, Cardinalkit was fascinated with the world around her. Wobbly legs barely able to hold the small, fluff ball of cotton upright without a bit of a tumble for more than a few steps at a time, the adventurous kit hadn't allowed that to stop her, nope! Snowydad had been super encouraging of her exploring around, too, as long as she didn't cause Firenotmom any heartache. Pfft. She didn't really care about Firenotmom. She was busy with her kits, anyways, and this little calico wanted to get out and about, explore to her heart's content and more!
Well, that and... all of her littermates were being stupid heads and
sleeping!
Sleeping! When Snowydad wasn't here. When Firenotmom was nowhere to be found. When they were alone and could... you know... do
something!
Anything! Never mind the fact that she had probably slept through many a restless moment for her littermates. This was about her right now, alright? She couldn't get bogged down with pointless details like that.
Determination clear in her pale green eyes, the wobbly fluffball got up, taking three steps before promptly tumbling over, chubby legs refusing to cooperate. A shrill mew of frustration escaped Cardinalkit momentarily, gone as soon as it had been sounded. Swiftly, the long haired kit turned around to look at her littermates. Not a single one of them had woken up, and despite her disappointment in them for their daring to slumber, she sighed in relief. Just because she was disappointed that they were being boring that didn't mean she wanted to wake them up. She wasn't a monster!
It took time. Dead cats in the sky it took time! But with a lot of frustrated squeals and stubborn fixation, the near newborn got out of her nest, tumbling here and there around the nursery as she explored. Woah. The world outside their nest was so big! Like, big big! Bigger than Snowydad, even! Their nest wasn't big enough for Snowydad, but she was sure he would fit in here like... like... Well, she didn't have a word for it, but super easily!
She was instantly enamoured with her surroundings. Tiny mouth gaped open as she tried - and failed - to walk while staring up at the ceiling. So... leafy! She wondered if she could get up there with a jump! Probably not... but maybe she could convince Snowydad to give her a lift! Bet she could be the tallest kit in the nursery if she got on top of his head. Seedkit would be allowed to be second tallest. She knew her sister liked snuggling up to Snowydad's big, warm, fluffy mane.
Cardinalkit was distracted. Far too distracted. She didn't see the nest as she walked into it. Tumbled into it. Right into the side of some other cat. In an instant, the tricolored cat's hackles raised with righteous fury, wobbly legs taking a few steps back as her angry scowl looked skyward, pale green eyes challengingly staring at blue.
"Hey! Wha's the beeg ideeah? You'we bwaking nosery potocols! No nests in the way. I'll be nice this 'ime, 'ough. You get off wi' a waning! But don' lemme catch you at eet 'gain, hmph!" the tiny ball of fuming rebellion spat, words clumsy due to a fine mixture of something akin to sleepiness but definitely not in the same category - or so she would claim - and simple, kittenish speak, barely still learning the intricacies of speech.
The kit made a harsh nod once she finished speaking, as if further cementing her words as law. She wasn't in the wrong here. Not if she could help it. Never mind that she was walking around unattended. It was the queen who was at fault. Obviously. And she was even being a swell, polite kit. Letting this much older cat who would no doubt get into trouble for making random nests in the middle of the paths clearly made for walking get away with a mere scolding. Wasn't she the best? Snowydad would be so proud.

| This is a fully optional roleplay and you can take as long as you want with it, no rush! Just having Cardinalkit meeting grandauntie Bravebird and maybe even having a certain Snowylad walk in on them at some point and the fact that he still has family in WindClan can come to light? 
Again, super optional and no stress! Just thought to post the starter in case you still wanted to go through with their meeting in character as opposed to off screen.
