Salmonshade had followed Minnowleap to a place. It was a nicely shaded area with a pond. "Oh wow! Thank you Minnowleap." She had started to become friends with Minnowleap and just thought of it as a friendship, but she didn't know if Minnowleap wanted a different kind of relationship. She never really loved anyone, so she couldn't tell if she was in love or not. @Spookytail

Minnowleap suddenly stuck her paw in the water and pulled out a fish.

“Look! It’s a salmon! Just like you!” She joked

"Ha!" Salmonshade chuckled. She hadn't had this much fun in awhile. She hadn't laughed this much in awhile. It felt nice. She went over to the pond and spotted a fish. She quickly scooped a little one up and revealed it. It was a minnow. "I caught you!" She joked. @Spookytail

Salmonshade so um would you like to go for a swim? I find swimming very calming and plus Im good at it!

"Sure!" Salmonshade mewed. She didn't really like the water, but if someone wanted her to try it out she would. @Spookytail

Minnowleap leaped into the water gracefully and swam like a pro.

Salmonshade hesitated for a second. "Why are you so good at swimming?" She asked. She then trotted over to the little pond and put a paw in to feel the temperature. @Spookytail

I’m not really sure. I have a memory of swimming in a river which looked like the RiverClan one so….
