The deputy padded into the camp clearing, giving his pelt a quick shake before he let out an attention-grabbing yowl. It was time to practice and learn new skills, and then they would bring their fury down on RiverClan for Beanstar's transgressions.
"WindClan! Follow me into the territory if you're interested in a battle training event. Choosing not to participate may limit your opportunities in our future battles against RiverClan."
After all, WindClan couldn't take every cat to the battle. Some would have to stay and guard the camp and the queens, kits, and elders who sheltered within.

Beetlecrest settled himself in the camp clearing, eyebrows furrowed in a determined set and fur as perfectly groomed as ever. Yes, he'd want to participate in the battles to come, as far as he saw it, RiverClan could stand to be taken down a peg or 8.

Lichenpaw bounded into the clearing at the call and quickly spotted Littlepaw. With a grin, she snuck up behind the other apprentice, deliberately being loud and not trying to quiet her happy purrs at seeing her friend. "Boo!" she exclaims, jumping into view of the grey and white tabby as cheerfully and full of energy as ever. "I'm so excited!" Lichenpaw said with a grin as she finally settled into place on Littlepaw's left side, her good eye closest, mostly so she wouldn't have to turn her head as much. Fallownose didn't say anything about needing any prior battle training so Lichenpaw assumed she was allowed to be here. If she was told to leave, though, then she would... maybe... probably not without a fight.
