Hello,

I have two questions I need some help with.

1. Although I am aware that a cat cannot only speak a non-English language, can cats have non-English names/use common non-English terms? For example, can a loner be named Navigo (swim in Latin), or a warrior jokingly call the other Monsieur? Can a group of rouges/kittypets/whatever have a name in, say, Italian? Can cats use terms like Blitzkrieg?

2. Can the Shadow Fiend purrk be taught to a cat who does not have it?

Not sure about the first one, but for the second, that's a no. You have to buy the purk in order to perfectly become invisible to all non-high ranks.

yep, purrks cannot be taught. they need to be bought.

Hello hello! @Snips Hopefully I can help a bit!

Levi and finley are both correct on the fact that Purrks must be bought, and unfortunately cannot simply be taught. As for your question on languages, it varies. Clan cats cannot know non-English terms unless they have outsider history and/or an in-character reason they know the word. Outsiders have much more lax rules. Names are free rein so long as they adhere to WCO's guidelines, and non-English should be limited to small phrases.
