SUNPAW

Sunpaw leapt up onto a flat rock, her plumy tail held high. Her amber eyes gleamed brightly as she watched her Clanmates.

“Alright, ShadowClan! Listen up,” The mottled apprentice began, her whiskers twitching. ”Im hosting a cleaning event - Greenleaf Cleaning. However, there will be a twist.”

Sunpaw’s lips turned up in the beginnings of a grin. “There will be an assigned group to each den. Whichever group is first to repair their den and clean it out will receive a prize from me. No spoilers - it’s a secret. It wouldn’t be a secret if I shared it, now would it?”

Sunpaw let out a purr of laughter. “Any cat willing to participate, gather beneath this rock, please.”

Ashkit approached the rock after the unfortunate meeting.
Suddenly, they perked up.
“Ooh!” They cooed excitedly.
Maybe if they did really well, Dawnstar would probably make them an apprentice now!
Meh, it was unlikely.
But it was worth a try!

Cleaning? Really? Did Shadowclan cats not have anything better to do with their time? Well, it was an apprentice calling for the event, so probably not. Or maybe her mentor wasn't keeping Sunpaw busy enough. Whatever. It seemed like a relatively small turnout so far, but Shrewstep took the liberty of inserting himself into the gathering cluster of cats. It wouldn't particularly do any harm for him to be present, and in case things got out of paw it wouldn't hurt to have an enforcer, albeit a rather small one, in the area to sort things out. Or run to Dawnstar and have her come yell at the fools, that was also an option.
