Running Wild (Rowan & Lavender Meeting)

Lavender limped into the abandoned Twoleg nest, situated near a not-very-large Twolegplace, which she had found near the woods. She was coming back from those woods, after hunting a bit, with empty jaws. She had gotten hurt when she had gotten bit by a squirrel, so she was not paying attention to her surroundings really.

The Tom was poking around the abandoned nest. It smelled of cat but…no cat would mind company right? He needed some anyway. Despite his age his eyes were always full like a kits and open to adventure. He had a bright red bandana tied around his neck that was torn up a bit, along with some scratches.

Lavender looked at this new cat. A tom. Kinda looked like the kittypet with the bandana, but that hardly mattered. He was not a kittypet, based on his scars. "Who are you?" she asked, trying to sound hostile. She failed and sounding like a cat in pain who needed some help.

He turned his head quickly to the sound of a cat talking, perking up a bit. A friend! Maybe… last time he thought he found friends he almost got his throat clawed out. “The names Reed. What about you?” He asked, not quite picking up on her fear.

She was afraid and wounded, and didn't know if he could pick up on it or not. Her biten leg showed prominently. Let's hope he was a nice cat, not one who would tear her up. "Lavender. What are you doing here?"

“I was just checkin’ things out. It was just rainin’ n all so I got some shelter.” He said in a slight southern accent. He paused, smelling blood and glancing around himself. Was her bleeding? No- gosh why was he so dumb? He then saw blood dripping from Lavender, jumping down from the higher platform he was on and walking up to her, inspecting her leg without saying anything.

Lavender jerked away. What was this cat doing? "What are you doing?" Lavender asked, alarmed. She tried to back up, but her leg gave away and she came crashing down. "Oof!" she grunted.

He carefully grabbed her scruff, pulling her up and standing next to her as a sort of support, allowing her to lean on him since he could probably support her whole body weight. “What happened to ya?” He asked concerned.
