Hello everyone, I'm Brittany, but in most online spaces I go by Ozz(y). (: I am a long-time Warriors fan; I got into the series in middle school, ended up drifting away from it for many years, but in the last year I resumed reading with the Omen of the Stars arc and am deeply invested again as I work through A Vision of Shadows. I've been an actual RPer far longer, though; I began as a meerkat RPer when I was ten years old when Meerkat Manor was a thing, and I actually still do this today; doing it so long, it taught me the incredible magic of writing with like-minded people, and writing remains one of my favorite hobbies!

I've wanted to join a Warriors RP for... wow, years, and I've been planning characters for many months that I am looking forward to introducing and expanding upon. I'm thrilled to have found a location that looks promising, but please be patient with me! I've mainly RPed on smaller forums that function a bit easier and are more quickly digestible I think (this is not an insult to this forum, bigger and more popular RPs require stricter setups for order to be maintained!), so it is gonna take a lot of reading and re-reading to make sure I've got everything down. And please, if I ever do accidentally break a rule, correct me without any fear of backlash. RP has been a core creative outlet to me, and I value it immensely, having met my closest friends I've ever had through this hobby. I aspire to cause no trouble and only to learn and have fun writing with other creatives.

D'aw thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm pretty socially shy so would feel a bit awkward asking people directly to RP, but reading through some of the rules for new members, I'll be comfortable asking to enter in open threads. <3 Before I try though, I wanna be sure I have my characters well-planned out and I feel confident in my understanding on how things work!

Ik how confusing it can be at first (When I first sighed up, I was so lost because I never used a forum before) just remember if you ever need help feel free to ask anyone, or send a support ticket. Everyone here is really friendly, so you should be fine.

The rules are pretty simple, just don't curse, don't be mean, no sexual themes, keep it pg-13, and don't have more than one account, Trigger warn things that are triggering, don't power play or roleplay other peoples characters, no directly coping characters from the books. Pretty clear stuff. At least, everything I remember. Dw, you'll most likely get a warning before you get action taken against you.

Also, to help you a bit; to get started roleplaying, click one of the four clans you would like your first cat to be In. You'll go to the clan page. If you scroll down under the clan symbol and to the Character Panel, you can click 'Create character.' You'll see a page called; who's joining after clicking. To bring back a missing character (Characters go missing if they are not roleplayed in 2 weeks time) click 'My cat is missing from Shadowclan' if your creating a new cat, click; 'My cat is a new cat from shadowclan' and the last one, the outsider one should be easy to guess what's that for.

You'll go to the character creation page, where you just type character name, select rank, looks, yadda yadda (You can leave the Mentor/apprentice thing empty unless your creating an apprentice character, then you'll have to find a mentor before/after you submit.)

After you select submit new character, clan leader/staff (idk) has to check before it is added to the clan. But you can still roleplay with the character as soon as you submit the character creation form.

Go back to the respective clan page your cat is in, scroll all the way down to the Clan threads tab, and click an location for your cat to start roleplaying! (Some locations are off limits to certain cats. For example, you can't just waltz in the leaders or the medicine cats den for no reason. and you can waltz out of camp as a kit without roleplaying you leaving first.)

And that's the basics on how to get started, you can make more than one cat in multiple clans, but I recommend one per clan or it'll get confusing.
