WindClan WindClan Outsider Joining

This is for any missing cats and outsiders. Missing cats must speak with Twilightstar or Fallownose before they are added back to the Allegiances.

Outsiders will do a brief introduction and reasoning as to why they want to join the clan with Twilightstar. Outsiders who are accepted will be allowed to roleplay as official members of the clan.

Outsiders must use the form for joining in the WindClan Resources and then post a starter. Any missing cats rejoining may post a starter here without the form.

Outsider Joining is currently open.

@Lillian sorry about all this!

Fireflykit stumbled into the new camp. He had been so eager to explore the new place that he had lost his small traveling group and been left outside of camp alone! When this has happened, he panicked and began running all around. He had found the camp entrance, however, and the relieved kitten padded up to Fallownose in an apprehensive manner. He didn't know if anyone had been looking for him, but he thought it would be best just to let someone know he was in camp. He cleared his throat and spoke quietly. 'Uh- so sorry to bother you, but I was left behind just outside of the camp, and just wanted to let someone know I was back. Just in case anyone was wondering where I had gone.'

Lilyantler padded after the scent trail of the Clan that had relocated. He had wandered away from the group to give his bones a rest, unintentionally letting himself get left behind.
He sighed as the trail became stronger, grateful that he was close to home. No doubt, he'd have to explain to his leader for his absence, and would do so readily. He hoped she'd understand.

Fireflame looked around confused where she was. the molly continued walking in search of her clan, unaware she is in the clan area

--------------------------------------------

Little ray wandered around, the weak and injured little molly dragged herself around looking for a good place to rest" hello is there anybody out ther?" she weakly said knowing it was no use to call out, she in the middle of no where, everything new to her eyes.
@Lillian or @Moonraven sorry for mention

The stars must have damned her. The stars must have damned her, her life, her family and every single cat insane enough to seemingly show her the minimal care one should receive.

Blood clotting her fur, scars littering her thin frame, front leg awkwardly twisted. What had she done to deserve all this? Exist? Try her best? Had the stars intended for her to just lay down and die? They could wish. She’d be a fool to give in to their idiotic games. She survived. Did they intend her to so she could suffer more when she died? She’ll show them. She’ll show them what she is made of.

Painfully Hailpaw pushed on, right eye squinted closed from the blood clustering her lashes. Pesky cat had to hit her right on the brow of all places. Not to mention her leg. She didn’t need to be a genius to tell it was broken, or at least fractured. The pain was throbbing.

The pretty apprentice had some very choice words for the beebrains that decided she would be a good target for their little cat hunt. At least she was back on WindClan territory, finally. If the struggle was even worth it. For all she knew the clan had completely forgotten about her (likely, seen their records) and would just attack her like some nasty rogue. The only one she could trust not to act so brashly was Twilightstar. And Hailpaw prayed to the stars above, however many choice words she had for them too, that Twilightstar was still leader. The horror if she wasn’t. Hailpaw wasn’t sure if she’d be able to survive that.

If only she had the chance to clean herself a little before presenting herself back, however. But stars knew how painful it was to just walk right now. What a dreadful sight she must be, and the young molly’s nose scrunched up in disgust at the mere thought. This was much worse than those ‘baths’. She couldn’t even say it was after bravely fighting off some beast; no, it had been some stars forsaken ShadowClanner and her goon. The embarrassment! The silver molly knew she must’ve been out of practice, but this. This was just plain unbelievable. Honestly, she should’ve considered throwing herself from the cliffs, at least then she wouldn’t need to face the clan’s judgement and backhanded concern. But she couldn’t just go and give the stars what they wanted either. So, here she was.

It was strange how almost reassuring it was to be back on the grounds of a clan that never batted an eye her way, unless it be to talk behind her back. But home was where the heart was, and strangely hers was here. She ought to ask herself why. But that didn’t matter. The weary and battered looking molly was exhausted, stepping onto the territory with a deep breath.

Or what was the territory once upon a time. The poor molly was horrified to find the ground battered and burned, worse looking than they ever had. Her breath caught in her throat. Shock filled her ears with a buzzing sound. In a last ditch effort, the molly pushed through the aching pain, trying to get closer to camp.
“Hello?”
She called with a rasped voice, vehemently looking for any sign of life. But there was no one. Not a soul. She was alone.

Collapsing to the ground, anger welled in her chest. Her clan got what they deserved. They burned for their crimes, but… Where did that leave her? Why did she feel so upset? For a moment, it felt like forbidden could spill over. But the silver feline chocked them back, raising his head. She wouldn’t be seen weeping over some misfortune. Not now, not ever.

It was with that in mind that Hailpaw, painfully, got back up. Desperate as she felt, she wouldn’t show it to the world. Her emotions were nothing but that of a whiny kit, something the molly had tried to escape since the moment of her birth. She would stand. She had to stand. WindClan couldn’t have entirely burned. They had to be somewhere.

Saying she was searching for days is an understatement. She spent moons scouring the territory for her home, and when she finally almost reached it, it got pulled out from right under her nose. It felt like building up a project for months on end, only for it to crumble and fall upon presentation, Hailpaw being left with nothing in the end. She was beginning to feel hopeless. Lost. Were they really gone?

That’s when she smelled it. The oh-so-familiar scent of her home, peeked through the thick smell of burned grass and smoke. Her ears perked in recognition of where the smell was coming from, a light illuminating her mind with realisation. The tunnels. Of course, the tunnels!

Hailpaw felt a rush of adrenaline break through the immense pain of her injuries, as she hurried forward as much as she could; helplessly limping and nearly falling at every step. But she didn’t stop. No, not until she reached the tunnel’s entrance. She heaved a few breaths; adrenaline falling again as she slowed to a stop and pain got to her. Hailpaw swallowed a wince, instead eyeing the WindClan-smelling tunnels with care. It was this or nothing. With a last deep breath, the silver molly nimbly slipped inside, her eyes scanning the dark, familiar tunnels.

She hadn’t been here in moons, and yet, it was the most familiar thing she’d seen in moons. It felt… Nice, strangely so, though not until she heard the faint bustle of her clan. They truly were here, and for a moment, Hailpaw forgot all the hatred and anger her heart bore for them.
“Pardon?”
She called, her voice echoing through the darkness; someone was bound to hear her, and they could take her to Twilighstar. Finally this nightmare would be over.
“I wish for an audience with Twilightstar, please.”

[ @/Moonraven – I do recall you mentioning that cats no longer on the missing list can just be resubmitted, but if Hail could do a rejoining rp that would be wonderful <3
She's been missing for a long while, but I imagine she’d be roughly around 20 moons now, just so she doesn’t age up too crazy much in one shot ]

The WindClan leader, exploring, wandered through the prairie with a small smile on her maw. The prairie land was strange compared to the moor, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. The brisk wind that shook the long grass, making it ripple like a sea of green, was fun to look at and this territory had so much prey waiting to be caught. WindClan couldn't have found a better home, even if it had some flaws.

As she shouldered her way through a dense patch of overgrowth, she was greeted by the sight of a missing tall, black and white tom. "Lilyantler." She called out surprised to see the warrior, but never the less grateful that he had found his way back home to them.

[WindClan's closed to outsiders joining so Little ray can't join the clan at the moment. Also, Fireflame isn't in the missing so can be resubmitted to the clan if you'd like, unless if you'd prefer we can do a rejoining.]

She's been missing for a long while, but I imagine she’d be roughly around 20 moons now, just so she doesn’t age up too crazy much in one shot ]

[Cats no longer in the missing have a choice to rejoin or be resubmitted, if you want to do a rejoining that's perfectly fine with me. To save some confusion, I'm going to have Hailpaw picked by Dustbunny and dropped off in WindClan's new home to talk with Twilight, since Twi wouldn't be found in the tunnels currently.]

Oh my, there was a weird cat in the tunnels? The tunneler had been exploring an old network of tunnels purely for familiarity purposes and to see if there were any more rogues lingering about, and low and behold she found one... or maybe that wasn't a rogue. The dark brown tunneler picked up the scent of blood on the cat and even in the near pitch-black darkness could see the injuries the cat had sustained.

It was clear the cat hadn't seen her or even heard her as she called out for attention. Considering the trouble WindClan's had with rogues, even an injured one, Dustbunny didn't really want to deal with them and was tempted to back away and report her findings to Twilightstar, that is until the loner meowed about seeking the WindClan leader's attention.

If she left her here and it was found out later that this cat wasn't a rogue but some missing clanmate or something, the guilt would eat her alive. So against her better judgment, the tunneler made her presence known, stomping her paws loudly as she walked closer to the cat until they were about a tail length apart. She'd probably see nothing more than a silhouette, but up closer Dustbunny made out all the injuries the she-cat had and winced internally wondering who she had gotten into a fight with. "I can take you to Twilightstar," the molly meowed.

"My name is Dustbunny, I'm WindClan's lead tunneler." The other cat didn't look like she could cause any cat any harm as she was. "If you can follow me, the tunnels are a bit of a maze," Dustbunny adds, well aware that she was going to have to move slowly with the other she-cat's leg looking all bent out of shape as it was. "If you need help walking I can give you a shoulder, it's going to be a bit till we reach camp."

Lilyantler was so, so grateful to see his leader.
He approached her, stopping to give her space.
"Twilightstar. I'm so sorry. I got sepelated from the group, believing I could find everyone by scent after resting, but I didn't realize the smoke scent would carry this far, and I got turned around."
He sighed, wishing he didn't sound so pathetic with his explanation. This sure would teach him to be more open about his need for rest.
He was older, no doubt anyone would understand..... it was only his pride that kept him from asking for help. He desperately needed to unlearn it.

While I do not (currently) have any cats in the Clan's, I try to have at least a few role plays with my outsiders (Sedgestorm, Woollyfeather) and my StarClanner Coldamber. Most of my role plays until I feel well enough to keep up with sweeps will be related to Covenant of the Sky duties.

[ oops, that's my bad! I completely blanked on the fact that WindClan is no longer in the tunnels ahah; thank you! ]

Or not. The hustle and bustle must've been nothing but a trick of the mind, and yet the scent of WindClan remained strong. Hailpaw felt oddly alone in these tunnels, her voice echoing once, twice, before silence engulfed her surroundings. How strange it was. Maybe this was a sign she wasn't meant to return home, maybe this was just another trick pulled by whatever surreal being held control over this world. How... Stupid. First her assessment getting pushed back again and again, her mentors going missing, getting catnapped, now this? What kind of sick joke was this? Was she nothing but some toy to play with? Well, the pretty apprentice would be damned if she let this slide.

That's when she heard it. The stomping of paws; the familiar scent of her home growing increasingly strong. A silhouette appeared. For a moment, she thought it could Weaselskip, here to take her home - but her mind knew better than to yearn for a traitor, someone who lied and abandoned her. This wasn't Weaselskip. Defensive at first, the molly raised her head high, painful as it was to tense her muscles. You never knew what knucklehead this could be; what idiot would think her an outsider. What kind of outsider would know WindClan's tunnels and Twilightstar? Thank the stars this one was calm.

The glint in Hailpaw's light eyes were one of suspicion as the cat revealed their name, Dustbunny: a feline she hardly remembered, but dully knew as one of the clan's few tunnellers, a position she'd always thought to be interesting. It didn't seem as though Dustbunny recognised her, to which Hailpaw held back a scoff. Just as she expected; WindClan hardly ever looked her way, why she recognised after so many moons. At least this one could take her home - or so she said. A certain pair of words stood out to the molly, and her ears perked, momentarily forgetting the pain.
"Lead tunneller?" Her voice echoed, brows quirking. "Whatever happened to Crowtooth?"
Last she checked, the ragged breathing tom was the lead tunneller. Not... Her. Something must've happened. He died, or disgracefully went missing as well - you'd expect better from a lead tunneller (and if anything, he owes her lessons).

"Oh, never mind."
With a light tsk at her own surprise, Hailpaw painfully shook her head; this was not the matter at paw, and frankly she'd like to see Twilightstar as soon as possible. If this cat could take her there, then she ought to not hold them back with silly chit-chat. She'd find out what happened to the feline when the time came, and that time certainly wasn't now. Why did she even wonder about him? They had no relation what so ever. Her ears briefly pinned back, irked by her own concerns. Stars above, what's wrong with her today.
"I know."
Hailpaw quickly uttered, voice clear as she averted her gaze. She was well aware of the maze-like qualities these tunnels had, and didn't need to somecat to tell her. Certainly not one she was hardly familiar with. In fact, the only bit of reassurance Hailpaw had that she could believe Dustbunny was the strong scent of WindClan to her fur - if it wasn't for that, the apprentice would have long since turned tail and left to find them herself.

That's when she offered a shoulder to lean on, and Hailpaw visibly grimaced. If Dustbunny made any attempt to come close to her, Hailpaw would retreat.
"I'm fine."
She quickly mew, hoping ahead a few steps as though showing off just how fine she was, despite the pain searing through her limps as she did. But Hailpaw was tough and stubborn, unwilling to give in and accept any form of help save for the guide back to WindClan.
"Please just... Take me to Twilightstar."
The word 'home' lingered on her tongue, but was left unsaid as she replaced it with Twilightstar. Her eyes darted down to the ground, grimace long since disappeared. She just this journey to finally be over. 'Let us not waste time', is what she thought as blue eyes flitted back to Dustbunny with determination, silently urging the lead tunneller to begin their road back.

The rapid apology was unexpected since it seemed like a genuine accident on his part. Although she was glad to hear that he knew where his fault was. If he had just spoken up about wanting extra rest, they could have waited for him or she could have left some warriors behind to make sure that he caught up with them. "It's alright, I'm just glad you managed to find us. We've lost so many cats during the journey." She meowed sadly. "I'm sure you've learned your lesson about being more open when you're in need of support. Remember that we're all together in a clan." Twilightstar told him, then kneaded her tail over her back leading him back to their home.
[All done]

[Will probably move this to the medicine cat's den due to Hail's injuries, but you should probably post a healing request before we do.]

Dustbunny was not shocked as her offer to aid the molly was turned down. She was silently relieved. As nice as she was trying, getting close to strange cats, even injured, went beyond her comfort zone. Dustbunny didn't seem at all offended or troubled at how snappy the she-cat was being, she was used to cats being like that with her. Being a tunneler was kind of alien in its own way. No one really got you. Even though she had parted her maw to answer the question about Crowtooth, it was snapped shut again with the demand to be taken to Twilightstar.

The tunneler turned tail and began the journey through the dark maze toward their new camp, eager to be rid of the abrasive she-cat. She made Dustbunny extremely uncomfortable, with words too biting, and her tongue just a tad too sharp. She moved through the tunnels at a snail's pace, purposely, lightly, thumping her hindlegs along the floor whenever the ground sloped upwards or downward sharply, she kept her weight low over her paws to adjust to the changes in the tunnel flooring, but that must be difficult when one was injured. She doubted the she-cat wanted to exchange words with her, so it was easier to give little signals. She should be able to detect the tunnels curved or sloped from Dustbunny's paw steps.

It wasn't too long till they reached a large opening where sunlight spilled in, exiting it led them straight into the prairie. Dustbunny paused for a second, eyes shut to adjust to the lighting before she exited the tunnels. "Mind your eyes." The she-cat meowed after being silent the entire walk. She didn't want to give the molly any more of a reason to be snappy with her. She waited quietly for a few heartbeats to make sure the loner wasn't having any troubles, although doubted she'd tell her even if she was, and then carried on their walk.

She faintly wondered if she should bring this cat all the way to camp as she pushed aside some ferns, and tried to take a path that was less strenuous for the injured feline. As they reached the thicket bushes and the slope that lead up toward the plateau and camp, she was never been so grateful to see the scarred, lilac-gray pelt and green eye peeking out from the entrance of the camp. In quick smooth motions, Twilightstar made her way down toward them.

"I thought I smelt fresh dirt and blood." The leader commented, eyeing the tunneler and then locking her single orb on the one behind her.

"I found her in the tunnels, she said she wanted to talk to you," Dustbunny replied, tail tip twitching nervously.

"Hailpaw, I haven't seen you in seasons." Twilightstar's gaze roamed the she-cat's body taking in all her injuries. Yet another lost clanmate returns wounded beyond recognition. Inwardly, it hurt quite a bit seeing her like this. First Cloverpaw, now Hailpaw, who's next. It was straight to Cowtuft with her.
