Morningkit yawned, grinning to show everyone her small, sharp teeth. Yes, another day, another victim. Who would it be today? She glanced around the clearing, her gaze falling on Sunrisepaw. A perfect target. She was the weirdest cat in the clan! Fluffing her fur to make herself more intimidating, before glaring into the older cat's brown eyes. The fur brain wouldn't hear anything she said. Morningkit giggled to herself.

Sunrisepaw was having a peaceful day. Just until a kit showed up. She flicked her ear and looked confused when the younger cat glared at her. Did they know signs? Morningkit merely snorted. Yes, she understood the apprentices, as her father had taught her some sign language, although she chose to pretend to not understand. Hello. She grinned, showing her teeth. Might you say that again? Morningkit knew that she probably wouldn't hear her, and she yawned.

Sunrisepaw tilted her head. The kit's lips were moving. They had to be talking. They just had to be. How could she hint towards her ears? Did they know she couldn't hear sounds? Couldn't hear a hawk, can't hear leaves falling, can't hear the river flowing. It was horrible. Imagine being born not being able to hear your own mothers voice. She swished her tail and gestured to her ears. @Crown_Sage

Morningkit cackled with amusement when the apprentice motioned torwards her ears. Oh, I know! She purred. It's like talking to a wall! She giggled, but stopped, baring her teeth. At least she got to meet her mother!

Uh what? This was so.... strange. The kit was so strange. Were they bullying her? She didn't care. But, deep down she did. She had been bullied a lot due to being deaf. It hurt so bad. But when they started to bare their teeth, she questioned herself. Did she do something? She looked at the kit. No one was around. No one to see. She layed down and put her tail over her eyes. Maybe his is a dream. A dream where she was deaf. Could she wake up and be a different cat that can hear? It had to be. @Crown_Sage

Morningkit laughed again, copying her and laying down. She grinned, knowing that Sunrisepaw was hurt on the inside. It was exactly what she wanted. For everyone to suffer just like her.

Tw: some thoughts of suicide
Sunrisepaw whimpered. Well, she didn't know she did. She did a thing with her throat she did when she was scared or sad. She peeked through her fluffy cream colored tail. The kit was mocking her. She didn't want to be here. Everything hurt. Mostly her heart. She knew she could make this end. Make everything end. So she could be in starclan. She could possibly go to that one weird place with hard black ground and wait for a monster. But, should she leave everything behind? Maybe. Just maybe. Only if she doesn't become a warrior. @Crown_Sage

Morningkit gave a smile of satisfaction. She had done her job. Stepping closer to the 'paw, she let out a mrrow of laughter. Mousebrain. Grinning, she came even closer so that she was face to face with Sunrisepaw. @Cherry_Blossom

Sunrisepaw was now shaking. Stop. Stop. Please just stop. As the kit approached her face, a single tear streamed down from her eye. Why did they have to bully her? Did she do something? She quickly turned her head away and out came more tears. @Crown_Sage
