Alright, so. This whole confined to camp thing, right? She's...she's practically gotten over herself about it. It just takes not thinking at all about what she's really doing or why she has to do it—which Salamanderpaw is remarkably good at—and finding ways to keep busy—which Salamandepaw is...getting better at.

But today. Today the sun rises just to spite her. Today she's got this yucky pit in her stomach and her thoughts are a little too runaway to manage; always straying toward topics she'd rather they didn't, ones that have her whiskers drooping and her tail spiked up in agitation. Briefly she entertains thoughts of the old kithood practice of punching rocks until her paws chap (after all, brand new Cliffhome has plenty of rocks), but she doesn't pursue the impulse. There's got to be some better way to spend her time. She's not a little kitten anymore.

Salamanderpaw mills sluggishly around camp. She doesn't want to do any of the things she's supposed to do right now. She almost wants to crawl back into her nest and pout herself to sleep but that won't look good to anybody. She's supposed to be being good about this. So—what? She could find Seapaw, maybe, but she's been trying to keep her punishment a secret from them and Tinytoad. No, it's not family she needs right now, it's something else. Good, respected warriors all talk to their clanmates, they don't sulk in their nests or sit around aimlessly. So what Salamanderpaw needs to do is...

"BEAVERPAW! BEAVERPAW, ARE YOU HERE???!"

He comes to mind after some thought. Such a timid cat. He definitely needs someone to whip him into shape, and Salamanderpaw definitely needs someone to boss around right now so she can feel better to start imparting her great wisdom unto her denmates to demonstrate how valuable she really is.

"I GOTTA TALK TO YOU!!!"

Beaverpaw had been resting for a moment and theeeen..
He heard his name get yelled, really loudly.
Someone wants to talk to him, great.

The ticked tabby pushed himself up and walked over, spotting Salamanderpaw.
Right, that makes sense, he should've recognized the voice.

"Uh.. yes...?" Beaverpaw said as he walked over to her.

"Beaverpaw, there you are! I have good news. I've assigned you to my warband." It's official! And also, evidently, not something that she's giving him much say in. "So that means we're like...well, we're not friends," she is downright merciless with her brief disgusted frown, "but if we're ever in a battle then I've got your back and you have to have mine, okay? And if you ever need to fight someone then I'll help you do it. But, your attitude needs work!" The stubby calico has made her way over to pace slowly around Beaverpaw, marching with purpose.

"First of all! Why are you......" a very long pause. Perhaps she's trying to think of a tactful way to put it. "..........like that?"

She punctuates the vague question with a judgemental sideways look.

"War...band?" Beaverpaw echoed quietly.
It seems Salamanderpaw is still talking about... this stuff.
Like in the nursery.

He can... play along, it's one way to make friends.
He kind of blocks out the comment of 'not friends' that she made.

His attitude?
Why is he like what?
"What do you mean?" Beaverpaw questioned.

"You're sooo...! You're......!!!" She stamps her paws, not even sure what point she's trying to make. "You're quiet. What's all that about? Aren't you ever angry? Don't you ever want to yell and hit stuff? Even a little bit?? What's the matter with you?" She pauses her circling, ears flicking back for a brief moment. "Guh, but don't worry about all that. If you don't know how to do it then I'll just make you. I mean, teach you. Okay?"

Salamanderpaw sits back onto her haunches looking satisfied with herself.

Okay, he's even more confused now, to be honest.
Quiet? He's not sure what's wrong with that.
But it seems that Salamanderpaw wants him to be angry more often, but...
He's not sure, actually.

Teach him?
"How are you gonna, um... teach to to be... angrier?" He questioned, a bit curiously.
