Her sanity was truly slipping now, wasn't it? She felt like she couldn't escape this place. It was even following her into the waking world. This place was different now, too... because a new presence didn't hide itself here. She couldn't run from her friend in her dreams anymore. It'd even inflicted harm on her before. Anxiety was running high in her today, she was drowning in this overwhelming sensation and it fed on that.

The entity wasted no time, clawing its way from the physical form of Treetiger and crawling onto the dark ground around them. Eerie red eyes always accompanied it. It sat silently beside a tree, staring blankly at Treetiger. The eyes. The eyes always followed her. The eyes were always so blank.

The eyes.

Treetiger's pelt bristled, and she took a few paces backwards. It didn't follow her, just stared. Gritting her teeth, she looked towards the ground, holding back a scream. Holding back every inch of sanity she could. "You better be here Thrush..." The only Dark Forest cat that seemed to listen to her. However, Thrush would not be the one accompanying her tonight.
