Saltcloud's Heart

Saltcloud had always been quite lonely, from the time he was a kit to now. The only friends he had ever had were his younger brother Ghostpaw, a now dead littermate.. and a former clanmate, now rouge, Sorrel. The two had been inseparable before, those who knew them thought they'd be mates, and so did Saltcloud. Until he learned that he had been seeing a rouge, and was now expecting kits with the she-cat. After a lengthy argument where Saltcloud confessed his feelings, the tom left the clan to raise his kits with his new mate.

Barely talking to anyone and struggling to come to terms with the cat he thought he'd settle down with, Saltcloud was more secluded then ever. Really only ever leaving the camp to stare into the forest and hunt for the clan. Joining the rare patrol but never talking.

Saltcloud and [your cat] had never talked much, only glances at each other in passing. Suddenly both cats keep bumping into each other. [Your cat] takes an interest in Saltcloud now. Next time they bump into each other [your cat] strikes up a conversation.

Distrustful at first, Saltcloud struggles to open up fully. Soon enough though, Saltcloud finds himself slowly opening up to the new cat.

They've got a friendship going, feelings may be developing.. But will it last? Sorrels been watching and he may not be too happy that someones getting close to Saltcloud..

About Saltcloud:

A small silver tabby with a black tail, a splash of cream across his face and chest.

He is soft spoken and does not trust easily, but fiercely loyal to those he does trust. He struggles with his self image quite a bit, but tries not to outwardly show it. Despite his quiet nature and how he secludes himself from the clan, he does practice hard to be a good warrior and clanmate.

Saltcloud is 18 moons old, trans female to male. He is not fully comfortable with how he presents. He is gay, so only male cats or male presenting apply please.

Due to an accident as a kit, Saltcloud has no back claws. Due to the nature of the accident, sometimes he struggles to walk long distances, climb, or stand on his hind legs, though he does his best to push through it.

You do not have to only apply for a mate position, anyone willing to eventually play Sorrel as well as anyone willing to be friends with Salty are also welcome!

Hey-hey! Sorry if I’m doing this wrong; I’m quite new to this website and still adding in/submitting a lot of my character concepts! I really like this plot idea and I have a cat who I think may be a good match, just let me know!!! :]

Personality : Moonstep is an extroverted tom known to be curious; often making risky moves to figure out what’s going on beneath his nose. This cat loves learning about others and can be relatively stubborn when ignored or avoided. Still, he’ll always be loyal to his clan.
In conversation, Moonstep likes to use his “natural charm” (as he describes it) to his advantage, coming off as annoying to some, but playful to others. If you’re “mysterious” in any way, do expect that he’ll begin to pull up.
Looks : A cat of an above average height for his age, relatively furry and often seen wearing various cosmetics. His fur is primarily black, but split with a dark grey coloring. Blue eyes and one small scar just above his nose.
Role : He can be any role you think fits, I’m down for whatever! Love interest or not, haha if you just mean clan rank, then he’s a warrior.
