Windflowerpaw sat alone with a frog in at paws, feeling a sense of boredom wash over her. Sure the frog was yummy and all but she wanted something to do..or someone to talk to. As mischievous blue eyes searched the Shadowclan camp clearing, her gaze fell upon Silentpaw, another multicolored apprentice like her. Windflowerpaw's face twisted into a welcoming one. "Queitpaw- I mean Silentpaw! Come over here! Do you wanna share this frog with me?" she asked loudly. She waved over to him with a tail and took a bite out of the amphibian. "It's pretty good!" she exclaimed with a full maw.

Silentpaw stopped in his tracks and turned to where he'd heard his name.

Oh.

Windflowerpaw.

He hadn't seen her much around camp, but ever since they've recently become apprentices, he's seen her more often than comfort. He'd never enjoyed the company of other cats and preferred to work solo. But he didn't want to be disrespectful. Shrugging, they trotted over to the apprentice and sat down across from her. He eyed the frog carefully before turned back to her and with a flick of his short tail, muttered one, single, simple word.

"Sure."

Windflowerpaw she smiled as the apprentice actually came over. They could tell from his walk that he didn't like to be bothered, but it probably didn't apply to her. He didn't even know her yet, no need to be grumpy yet. She took another bite out of the frog and pushed it over to Silentpaw, who was...pretty silent except for saying a single word. I suppose that's why they were named that way.

"So," she started, not waiting for him to take a bite yet. "How was your day? How's your mentor? Learn anything yet?" The multicolor apprentice bombard them with questions. It was better than her answering her own questions and only talking about herself, so it should be alright.

Hesitantly, Silentpaw leaned over to take a small bite out of a frog, and glanced back at Windflowerpaw. The questions she was bombarding him with were slightly overwhelming. He had never been talked to this way. Shrugging, he looked off to the distance as if to think, then looked back at Windflower with a slightly uniterested look on his eyes.

"Hm," He muttered, flipping the frog over on its stomach (Or what was left of its stomach anyways) with his claws. "I've... Been good. Dimrose hasn't taught me.. Anything yet." It was extremely clear that he did not know how to talk to cats at all.

"Same here!" she gave the apprentice a smile. Quietpaw really didn't seem interested in elaborating, or perhaps he was just shy. She can deal with shyness. Windflowerpaw stretched her neck to take some other bites of the frog.

The multicolored apprentice laid their head on their paws and blinked into his purplish blue eyes. "We could always try sparring! We might not have any training but maybe we could make something up?" she asked. They jumped to their paws and flicked their dark brown tail into the air. She spread her fore-paws into a playful fighting stance. She was thankful, it wasn't any fun to be stuck in one place for a while. "C'mon, once you're done with that frog." Her blue eyes glistened mischievous.

"I'm not that hungry," Silentpaw blankly said, gently pushing the frog away from him. He looked back at Windflower, raising an eyebrow. It was quite amusing, actually. He'd never met an apprentice this... Cheerful. Or maybe all apprentices were like this. He wouldn't know, he'd never met other apprentcies, or really, other cats. And he knew he himself were not like this. Silentpaw would never let his emotions show, especially not around other cats. Windflowerpaw was no exception. He just watched, his tail twitching slightly.

The corners of Windflowerpaw's maw turned into a frown. It seems she has to pry a bit more to get the apprentice active. The multicolored apprentice let the pause drag on a bit longer, pretending to be focused on his ear. She ran up to them and dropped into a crouch. She twirled around and flicked out a hind leg, attempting to trip them.

Silentpaw blinked in surprise as he stumbled away from the multicolored apprentice, then stood a good distance from her, his body slightly lowered to the ground. He narrowed his eyes dangerously, glaring daggers into the apprentice. Now what was this for? Whatever it was, Silentpaw was not a big fan of.

Windflowerpaw returned a serious look before sticking her tongue out. "C'mon! Attack me." they taunted. She ran forward and swiped one of her brown colored paws at the side of their face.

Silentpaw gave Windflowerpaw a strange look, twitching his ear. He moved away from Windflowerpaw's incoming attack just in time not to get struck. Unless it was never meant to hit them, but better safe than sorry. Silentpaw silently eyed the apprentice infront of him judgementally before scoffing, and pouncing forward to give her ear a slight nip. Clumsy, but it was still an attack.

"Happy?" Silentpaw murmured, backing off but still standing defensively.
