Orangeblossom as taken to spending his free time fixing up the den walls of the nursery and keeping a general eye over all of the kits that reside in the space. Many of them don't have parents or queens to take care of them and Orangeblossom comfort in doing so. Maybe for having some semblance of being able to protect and keep safe from the dangers that has taken his entire family, or maybe because he was chasing the nostalgia of having his family again. Regardless, Orangeblossom found himself messing with this especially oddly woven piece of den walling. It was higher up and the older tom has decided that perhaps weaving some brambles up here would help keep the den safer. Though that was mostly because of his paranoia spiking again.

His bobbed tail swayed behind him as he thought each of his actions. He's learned from doing a couple of repairs that the whole process was a lot more delicate than just throwing things were they stayed put and fit. If he just did that then it could potentially be dangerous down the line when instabilities that could've been prevented. And also doing a good job now means he doesn't have to repair as soon later. He hummed a small tune as he continued to carefully pick and choose each vine he used to weave through the current walling.

After waking up again after yet another restless night, he stood up to see orangeblossom staning near. "Hey! *yawns* hows it goin, heard you were doin some repairs?" he said sleepily. His heavy breaths felt soothing in some way, if only their sleep was like it..

Orangeblossom tossed a glance over his shoulder as he peered at the kit that approached him. The warrior has seen them around the nursery so they were still a kit, at least Orangeblossom assumes so, but they were very much on the older side. The warrior never really questioned why as there were all sorts of things that could lead to a kit having a late apprentice ceremony that or things that land an apprentice with a demotion and frankly it wasn't his business and he didn't need to know so he didn't ask. Instead, he simply smiled and nodded his head as he motioned towards the branches as he attempted to loop a vine around the two them to try and get them to stick together.

"Yep! I was adding in some brambles higher up. For extra protection. I know that uhhh- I know that an owl swooping the camp is low but its- I just rather the nursery be all extra safe anyways! You know..." He didn't like thinking or talking about the owl that took his friend away from him, the clan, but he also knew that doing this would quell his paranoia and anxiety at least a little bit. Despite the shake in his tone of voice he kept smiling and he motioned for the kit to come over if he wanted, "You wanna help? I can show you how if you want?"
