Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Members who have nominated a character will have their username added to a raffle at the end of the nomination period. Three lucky members will be rolled by the staff team and receive 2,500 Koins! Previous winners will be eligible to win again after three months.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: Oh man where to begin! For starters Wildpaw is a relatively new Windclan apprentice yet this character has so much spunky personality it’s a joy and pleasure to read Oliver’s posts. Though I love Wildpaw Vinepaw is slowly warming up to the other apprentice though being tackled every time they see eachother isn’t exactly his favorite he’ll tolerate it. Vinepaw even as a kit admired wild cats and well Wildpaw is definitely wild lol

Why should this character be featured?:I haven’t known Spiderpaw for very long but I sympathize with this apprentice his uncertain feelings for a certain cat makes me chuckle and his perseverance is intriguing.Even through Flytails rough training he still pushes through I also enjoy Rowan’s writing style much to say I believe everyone should pay more attention to this character !

Why should this character be featured?:Love this silly little guy. Love how Nyme writes his petty attitude(specially towards WhitekitOrangepaw). But, I can also see him being a really loyal cat in the future, since he already seems to be. The reasons he is the way he is is written out well by nyme, and I just really like how nyme fleshes out and writes their characters a lot! Can’t wait to see where little man goes.

Why should this character be featured?: My love and adoration for this guy will end the day i unalive /silly. Anyway, Rowanmane is great to interact with, he’s definitely coping with some things in his past that have decided to show up againhis child, and I like how Rowan writes the way he deals with it. The guy is really loyal and loving to his clan, and I’m sure he’ll get a better way to copestop avoiding your problems /silly. Love how Rowan writes him.

Why should this character be featured?: GUYS GUYS GUYS, someone had to nominate this guy! I am that someone! You guys better bet this ball of energy will be all over the place once he becomes an apprentice! Aspenkit is such a devoted character, with a buncha lore packed into him that is cleverly hinted at in each post! I read each one and I'm like, what do you mean, burntToast!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S LOREEEEE!? Aspenkit has big dreams and even bigger aspirations, I genuinely love him so very much. I feel like he's exactly what Riverclan needs, a rowdy yet devoted warrior who won't mind calling the shots one day. He's certainly going places and I cannot wait to be apart of that!

sjkgfoah THIS GAL IS AMAZING! LOOK LOOK *shoves magpiepaw in your face* /silly Ok so first of all she is such a scrunkly. Second of all she hasn't changed to any less scrunkly in the past two seconds. Third of all LOOOK AT HER; Marigold writes her amazingly, and she kinda bullys you but kinda doesn't? go look at her posts >:] (she's still a scrunkly to this minute /silly)

Why should this character be featured?: I don't do this often (purely because I forget sometimes) BUT I have been waitinggg for August nominations to open so I can toss Creepingpaw up here! I love the lad so much, twizzy does such an amazing job of writing him. His relationship with his mentor and his interactions with the cats around him are some of my favorite to read, ever. Honestly, I think roleplaying with twizzy's Creepingpaw is what singlehandedly brought back my motivation for Kestrelpaw, and whew, I will forever be stalking his posts now.

Why should this character be featured?: I've got a huuuge soft spot for sassy li'l troublemakers and Silverfur is one of my favorites so far. She's brash, she's so funny, she has a long way to go, and her writer portrays all of it beautifully while still depicting a cat who's able to face the music when she's got to, and to lock in when it really matters. Silverfur's just been such an endearing read and I hope to see more of her!
