Troutstone pranced over to the Apprentices' den and called to Sunstepaw in a sing-song voice. "Oh Sunsetpaw! Time to go training!" He knew he looked stupid, but didn't care. He wanted to test the water with his new apprentice, see their reaction to things like this and get an overview on their character. @Pangoligon

Sunsetpaw's ears perked before turning their head, hearing their mentor telling them it's time to start their training; with their usual smile, Sunsetpaw walked over towards Troutstone. A bit suprised by the way Troutstone said it "i'm excited! Ssooo if i'm not misremembering things, we're going to do a territory tour first right?" they said, remembering the riverclan meeting. The apprentice was excited to see the territory for the first time

Troutstone grinned at his apprentice as they appeared. "Yeah, but it could be anything you want, but it is usually best to do the tours first, get to know the territory and all. 'S that what you wanna do?"

"I think the territory tour first!" Sunsetpaw replied, pausing a bit before continuing "like the uh...Clan borders or...the rest of the territory!". The apprentice wondered what the borders will look like or other parts of the territory outside of camp; the only part of the territory outside of camp in riverclan that they have ever been to is the cattail pond.

"Righto," Troutstone purred. "Uh, Smallpines first, I think." He started to the entrance. "If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!" He padded on at a leisurely stroll toward Smallpines. "Keep your mind focused on your surroundings. It might all seem daunting at first, but you will soon grow used to the territory." At last they reached the place. "This is Smallpines. Out border with ThunderClan!" He proclaimed.

Sunsetpaw followed their mentor to the border, looking around; taking a mental note of basically almost everything they notice that seems important. So, this is called Smallpines? they thought, Thunderclan's scent was different then what they're used to which is actually great considering that if a Thunderclan cat was near them; they would be able to tell if the cat is a thunderclanner. "Smallpines, border between Riverclan and Thunderclan, got it!" they said
Sunsetpaw wondered which border will be next, so far everything is so interesting to learn.

Troutstone pressed his flank to one of the trees and rubbed against it. "While we are here, we may as well give it an extra mark, just to show those ThunderSquirrels that we ain't slacking. It is a good skill to have." He gestured to another tree for Sunsetpaw to do the same. He waited for him to finish, then flicked his tail and set off for the next border. "This is Sedgewater Valley," he mewed upon arriving, "Our border with WindClan."

Troutstone nodded. "The rabbit-brains. Come, lets give this a quick mark then we can head off to the next and final border." The grey warrior padded to a marking and rubbed his pelt against it, then set off for the next destination. "Saltmeadow Marsh! Our border with the... Shadow-toads? Dose that work?" He shrugged.
