[WindClan] Snowblind's Relationship Finder

Well hi everyone, it's finally time for me to actually get to work on integrating a character into RP! My first submitted character is Snowblind of WindClan, and I want to start building bonds with her. So!

Brief personality run-down on Snowblind: a blind she-cat with a determined, fierce personality, but also harboring her own deep-seated doubts and insecurities. She lost her vision quite rapidly as only a kit, and since then, she's been hellbent on never being a burden to her Clan and serving WC well. She maintains a warrior position and can hunt louder prey and assist on patrols (her elevated hearing and sense of smell will serve well for picking up on anyone who may be sneaking about), but she cannot fight. She has a bit of a hard shell and can be prickly, especially when she's frustrated regarding her blindness and how it limits her, but she is also very proud of all she can accomplish while being disabled. When she gets close to someone, she gets REAL close, and it's never a debate on whether or not she'd drop her whole life to keep those she loves safe. I'll save more about her personality when I make a bio for her!

Brief appearance (for family genes): Pure white, medium-length, thin fur. Doesn't lean towards any special breed characteristics, besides having large and very furry ears. Her eyes are a very light blue.

Approximate age: I'd like to keep Snowblind *around* 30 moons/two-and-a-half years, but I might be willing to flex this depending on how well the cats you bring up fit her.

What roles am I looking for specifically?

Parents. I am open to a variety of personalities here, but I think it'd be especially interesting to support her own "hard side, soft side" personality if she had one parent who was a bit harsher than the other. This is not mandatory, I just thought it'd make sense. When her parents are decided, please do inform me on who her siblings would be.
A sibling with a very close bond to her. This is honestly what I want most of all for Snowblind. I like to imagine a sibling (sister preferably) who likes to spend time with Snowblind, and especially when Snowblind is having an anxiety attack (these often relate to her losing WindClan in some way and never finding them again), they don't mind sitting with her, touching noses to remind the blind cat that she is truly not alone, as they help talk her down from her anxiety. I think this could be an extremely cute and supportive relationship.
A friendship with at least one elder. Snowblind will LOVE to hear stories, and we all know the elders are the best place to find them! I like to imagine Snowblind having hung out with the elders since she started to lose her sight, taking comfort in being able to visualize tales she herself will never get to see in her own life. (FILLED BY: Duckthroat!)

I am very open to more roles, like friends, rivals, even a mate (but I will be very picky and you need to be very detailed in describing him [she's heterosexual], please.) The only role I would imagine not working would be her having an apprentice since she can't teach fighting skills, but WC higher-ups, feel free to let me know if there's a loophole for that, and I'd be fine with her teaching what she does know.

Please let me know if I didn't do this correctly! And ask any questions you may have. Don't at all hesitate to bring up roles I didn't mention, I'm very excited to start RPing and would love for her to have a variety of unique relationships. <3

Hello!

So, I have my WC apprentice Daffodilpaw whose family consists of Bouncepaw (not RPed by me), Gorseflower (yellow spotted tabby she-cat with white underbelly, light pink nose, and bright green eyes) and Rabbitfur (long-furred white tom with dark amber eyes).

So I was thinking maybe they could be kin? If not an older sibling from a different litter, Snowblind could be like a cousin on Rabbitfur's side of the family?

Hello! I have an elder named Duckthroat you may have seen him around camp telling stories.Though he can get quite lonely in the elders den because there’s only one other elder he would definitely take Snowblind under his wing. He is kind and cheeky @Ozzkat

@Idiotic.Bean101 that sounds fantastic! She would absolutely love to help teach another blind cat, that would definitely help give her a feeling of usefulness, too.

@Luna16 I'm up for that! If Rabbitfur's parents' RPers are fine with having Snowblind as a kit, that sounds fine to me. If not, cousin is fine, too!

@Tallstar This sounds great! Especially if he gets lonely in there, Snowblind would be very willing to make routine story check-ins, haha. Even stories aside, she'd just appreciate having someone to talk to, it keeps her out of her head.

Cool! Rabbitfur is my OC and nobody is RPing him at the moment, so I'm fine with them being siblings! I was planning on making him and getting someone to play his mate, so then we'd have the whole family!

And Snowblind with have a brother, sister-in-law, a niece, and a nephew.

for my own reference and to update the OG post so others know the roles that have been filled, would you mind sharing Rabbitfur's parents' names? For the sake of simplicity, I'm just gonna put them up as parents and Rabbitfur up as her brother, I won't get into extended family here.

No worries! Parents would be Flightfern (calico she-cat with green eyes) and Smokebranch (light gray-and-white tom with amber eyes). Between the two, Flightfern would definitely be the ill-tempered one lol. Impatient and ornery. Rabbitfur is a little older than Snowblind (he's about 45 moons), so they'd be from different litters if you wanted to keep Snowblind at her current age, which is fine for me if its okay with you! At this point, Flightfern and Smokebranch would likely be elders or at least very senior warriors close to retirement.
