They've been here for far too long. It felt as though Rugged Range was growing busier by the day, more irritable by the day, and frankly he too was done with being here. If only WindClan hadn't found them to put forth their revenge. It delayed everything tremendously, with the injured in need of treatment and even the clan lacking prey was proving to be difficult.

It'd been a few days now however, two or three since the fight with WindClan took place - injuries were still fresh, but they were treated all the same and they couldn't stay here any longer. It was time he took them to the camp his mother had led him to. Time they went to a safer place to reside.

He wasn't certain how the clan would take going somewhere new... Even so, he hoped they would understand his reasoning - their camp flooded once this moon, who says it won't flood again soon? For now, it felt safer to remain on high-ground and build a new camp. The work would more or less have been the same anyway.

Positioning himself near the centre of the group, he took a quick look around, trying to see if most if not all were present. They couldn't lose anyone now.
"RiverClan, gather 'round!"
He started, waiting a few moments for everyone to take notice and listen - this wasn't an announcement they wanted to miss.

"WindClan knows where we are, and we've been without a camp for far too long -- it's time we left this place.
We won't be returning to our original camp. It flooded once, it may flood again; For now, it is better we remain on high-ground.

A suitable place for a new camp has been found not far from here, we'll be able to reach it well before nightfall.
Able-bodied warriors are to help kits and injured along the journey -- apprentices, make sure you stick close to your mentor or another warrior.

Unless there are any complaints, we leave now. Follow me."

He paused as he turned in the direction of the path he'd memorised to the area where they could build a camp safe from floods, head turned in the direction of his clanmates in case anyone needed his assistance or had to add their two pairs of words to this.

[ RiverClan is leaving Rugged Range!

There will be two parts to this move - firstly where they leave Rugged Range, followed by the building of their new camp.

Rainkit perked his ears as gingerdep... no, Mister Gingy called for wiveran. He tumbled over, getting more used to blackness in his left eye. And it was time to move!! He never really knew what was going to be their new camp, so it was fun to see what the new camp looked like. The kit knew it was going to be a long walk. His stubby little legs couldn't handle it. But a bigcat's leg could!

Rainkit knew just who to ask.... Springkitty!!! He looked around for the familar pelt of his apprentice bestie, when he spotted her. He waddled over before attempting to paw at her pelt. "Srinty!!!!!!!! REEEEEEEE!!!!!!" He mewed, rearing up on his hind legs. That should be enough of a signal.

Hawksun gave a nod to his leader, gathering Brightnight, Willowkit, Weepingkit. And the elders Silverclaw and Foxmoon. "Come along, we must follow him" he encourged softly, his voice was calmly but demanding as he cared about his clan

The grieving molly padded over, sniffing softly before letting the familiar mask slip on. "Do any kits want a badger ride to our new home?" She hummed sweetly, looking around. The only giveaway of her immense grief was the shadow under her eyes, but determination cancelled out any reason for her to not help with moving.

( open to some kits to ride birdpaw to the new home + anyone else who wants to walk with her)

Squirrelkit skedaddled quickly to the front, her long legs making her look like an apprentice.

Shellheart looked down at his kits, then up at his leader. Koikit and Carpkit lay asleep at his paws. The journy would be dangerous, but he was ready. He looked around to see if any cat would help him carry his children.

Tigerpool leaned down to grab Rabbitkit by her scruff and put her on her back but Rabbitkit insisted that she could walk and Blossomkit agreed, knowing that her mother would try to do the same thing to her and she could walk! Tigerpool sighed but let Rabbitkit and Blossomkit walk because it fighting them over it just wasn't really worth it and put Wishkit on her back, walking slowly so Rabbitkit and Blossomkit could easily keep up.

Rabbitkit and Blossomkit walked next to their mother's side.

Wishkit clung onto Tigerpool's back.

[OPEN PROMPT - ANYONE IS WELCOME TO RESPOND]

Leaving the old camp behind completely...? The thought was... no. There was no way. GingerFrost had to be joking! Her thoughts were going a mile a minute, looping back and flip flopping over eachother until it felt like her stomach was in her throat. The flood... the fight with Windclan - She had felt a life-threatening determination to help her clan during those times... but now she only felt an aching disappointment in her chest.

As she opened her mouth to shout out in confirmation, the leader seemed to be on his way causing the warrior to bite back her words in second thought. This wasn't time to dawdle. GingerFrost was right... This was a dangerous place to be and on the bright side no more rocky back nights! The warrior forced a wry smile to her maw, shaking away the anxiety of her thoughts. Besides, they were exploring a new place. Exactly... This was exciting! Taking a long deep breath as she regulated herself, CherrySwirl began to look around their current home. Now then... who would need help moving?

"ANYONE NEEDING ASSISTANCE DURING THIS MOVE?!" She called loudly in the swarm of fellow clanmates, hopping on her paws to get a good look around. "I CAN HELP ANYONE WHO NEEDS IT!"
