Alderstep nodded, glad that the patrol caught some prey, but his eyebrows drew together in concern. "Woodpaw didn't catch anything?" he asked, knowing that he'd sent that little guy out too. So either he didn't know how to hunt, or he didn't catch something out of poor luck. He hoped it was the latter, because he'd tried to make sure that any apprentices he sent hunting could hunt. Stars that'd be embarrassing if he sent an untrained 'paw out hunting.

Time, time. Alderstep twitched his whiskers. If only one could pin the sun up in the sky whenever they wanted. He sighed. "Alright, get going," he dismissed. He missed the simpler days when he didn't have to bother with questions. Though someone should get to teaching Woodpaw more than the basics, so he could contribute. Things to consider. He should be grateful that the patrol brought back some good prey. Well, he was. He should be more.
The pretty tabby blinked a few times, unsure of what to make of this. "Uh. Yeah. No. Can't do that. I actually have no clue where Firefly Cove is relative to... this side of the river." She made an odd gesture with her paw, circling the ground around her before continuing. "I can follow but I sure as hell can't lead, buckaroo. Unless you want me to pick a direction and go and hope for the best." StarClan above, she didn't know anything or anyone or anywhere, and yet here she was, ordered by a pipsqueak to lead an herb patrol. Violetfreckle didn't even know who Lightningpaw and Sunleap were! How was she supposed to find them??
"Um, yo. Sunleap. Lightningpaw. Whoever I'm supposed to go with. Come find me because I have no idea who in the name of StarClan you guys are." She muttered under her breath. "For StarClan's sake, maybe joining this Clan was a bad idea..."
Lightningpaw hopped over, humming happily. Woah, Violetfreckle was really really stealthy! All ninja ninja sneaky style, Lightningpaw didn't even notice her until she'd poofed!
"Hiya hiya!" She chirped, her sweet face lighting up. "Should we get going?
With a few more blinks of utter confusion, Violetfreckle shook out her fur and let out a looooong sigh. "Yeah, yeah. Let's go. Someone else lead the way before I lose my sanity. Or, at least, the rest of it anyway."
Mistberry let out a huge "cough" "I don't think I can make it for the patrol" @ares

The faint sound of a cat coughing was quick to fill the calico’s ears, Springpaw quickly turning her head towards the direction of Mistberry as the molly approached her. Oh? Was she sick? Just as she was about to make a retort, the molly was quick to inform her that she didn’t think she could make it for patrol. Well, that’s a shame. Springpaw frowned before sighing, beckoning to the medicine den with her tail. “Your excused from the patrol. Please make sure that you’ve informed the others that you won’t be able to attend. Then, afterwards, please rest in the medicine den. I don’t want to risk anyone getting sick at this time.” She explained, giving her a short smile. It was rather strange that she would suddenly inform her at this given moment that she wouldn’t be able to properly attend the patrol. Oh well, she must’ve felt too sick to do so.
