Escaping the Storm

This is currently set at Smallpines, on RiverClan's side of the border.

ThunderClan cats have been instructed to gather here while the Clan finishes evacuating. Once the evacuation is over with, Lionstar and Duskstar will be delegating what happens next.

Posting here will count for your cat escaping and will keep them from being considered missing!

Podlight ran to smallpines, Littlekit clutched firmly in her jaws. Other than some singed tufts of fur, she was relatively unharmed. "Frostwing!" she called to him in a muffled voice, "are you okay?" she asked, hurrying over to brush nuzzled with him. "hurry, we need to get the kits where's their safe" she quickly mewed, placing Littlekit down on the lush, untouched grass. She envied just about every other clan at this point, really. All of the other clans didn't have to worry about that fire.

Pinepaw ran over, her lungs still heaving. She hadn't been harmed by the fire but her skinny, underfed body couldn't take that much running. She arrived at Smallpines and immediately collapsed.

Moonmallow picked Waspkit up again, despite his insistence he could walk, and made her way to the Smallpines and carefully crossed the river, keeping the scrap of fur held tightly in her jaws and keeping his head from going under. She set him on the river bank and just..... stayed submerged in the water, the cool feeling of the river lapping where she had been burned by the flames.

Linnetwing lead Deerpetal to safety, staying close to the queen in case she needed anything. The molly guided her to a nice place to rest. "We're safe now. Lay down.", she meowed. Linnetwing hoped Brightpaw was going to be alright.

Deerpetal followed behind Linnetwing and listened as she told her to rest. The expecting queen laid down and waited for the rest of her clanmates make it to safety as well.

Lionclaw reached the other cats and looked around. He waited for the other cats of his Clan and would be on the lookout to help anyone in need. He would go around the cats and asked if they were okay.
"Are you guys alright?"

Hawkmist ran over, then sat, tired. His amber eyes stared at the river. “Hmph.” he muttered to no one in particular. “What now...”

He nudged himself a little further away from the river, his dislike for water showing. “Still better than dying...”

Sycamorerain staggered all the way to Smallpines and across the river, following the rest of his clanmates. The limp in his hindleg wasn’t too big of a deal to him. It wasn’t as bad as the scorching and painful burns some of these unfortunate cats had received. He knew for a fact that not every cat had made it out from the flaming camp alive, but he at least hoped a majority of them had. And at the moment, he’d temporarily lost track of Snowmist, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find her among the group, right? “Snowmist? Snowmist? You alright?” He coughed a pawful of times, lungs starting to clear the thick and hazy smoke that had invaded during their escape from the camp.

Eaglespark padded calmly into Smallpines, having followed the rest of the group there. She sat down near the edge of the gathering crowd and looked around, examining everyone with silence. Their panic was intriguing, though she knew the questions would arise. Ah, quite the chaotic situation, indeed. She was rather intrigued by how it would end.

Lilyleap made it to the far side of the bank, and then lay down, breathing heavily.

Fleetwind dropped his kit, and lay down. He knew Lionstar was taking cats back into the fire, but he had already saved Smokewatcher and a kit, so he thought he did alright.
