Kestrelpaw's eyes gleamed. Of course she knew that this cat was Softpaw! They were in the same den! She rolled her eyes. And you probably already know that I'm Kestrelpaw. She mewed.

Softpaw gave a gentle purr, "Oh.. yes of course.. we share the same den.. silly me. Well uhm... lets go them shall we?" Softpaw asked, standing up and shaking out her pretty white fur

Kestrelpaw nodded. There's a hill over there! I didn't get a chance to go up it. She glanced over at Softpaw, and trekked up it, not making sure that she was behind her.

Heroneye was walking towards camp, widening her maw in a yawn. It had been a long day, and she was fully prepared to get back and retire for the night when, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed two apprentices--namely Kestrelpaw and Softpaw--roaming about the territory. She frowned, brow furrowing in thought. It was Fadingstar's intention that apprentices were forbidden from leaving RiverClan without a warrior to look after them. She really had no interest in scolding anyone; she didn't want to be the one to ruin their fun, the one who had spoiled their nighttime excursion.

But she was a Lionheart now. Responsibilities and all that. Not letting down the ones who had taken a chance on Heroneye, of all cats. She hoped the apprentices would understand. Softpaw was a reasonable cat, and though Heroneye didn't yet know Kestrelpaw, if she was friends with Softpaw, then maybe she'd be the same. It simply had to be done, right? That was what she told herself.

Heroneye turned herself away from camp after a pause, trotting up to the pair. "What are you two doing?" she asked, a hint of hesitation still in her voice. She painted over her face with her best stern expression. That was what a good, responsible Lionheart would look like, right? "You know you're not allowed to leave camp without an escort."

(Hi! Jumping in here because apprentices are not allowed to leave camp unless they are accompanied by one or more warriors. It is understandable that this rule may have been misinterpreted due to the wording used during the meeting, so Kestrelpaw and Softpaw will be let off with a warning. However, if this happens again, they may be subject to IC punishment. That being said, you're free to continue using this RP thread, provided both apprentices return to camp and remain there.)

Kestrelpaw rolled her eyes again, and told Heroneye, We were just having some fun! Then she asked, Do you wanna have come with us? Maybe if the grumpy lionheart had a bit of fun, she wouldn't be grumpy!

Softpaw asked, using her green eyes to plead though some mischeif glittered in them. Softpaw meowed, "Come on' your my mentor..... can't you cut your oh so tired apprentice some slack?" Softpaw purred
