Today, Bitterpaw did something... Surprising. Watching the living clans. Needless to say, it was boring. Although, it did lead the apprentice to a new victim. Howlingkit of ShadowClan. Daughter of the medicine cat. This would be... interesting.

Once night fell, he waited for the kit to fall asleep to pull her into the dark forest. Showtime.

His scarred maroon pelt made him look unwelcoming, as his green eyes gleaming against the starless landscape.

"Howlingkit," the older cat snarled.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Bitterflash, the darkest among these woods," he chuckled, dipping his head to the kit.

Silver Tongue Inactive

"Now," he prompted, straightening his posture before sitting down. "I have been watching you. But, before I get to business, tell me about yourself." The dark apprentice kept his gaze steady on the kit.

There was something about her that made Bitterpaw uncomfortable. Good thing he always kept his annoyed expression on his face. Howlingkit was... different, to put it simply.

Bitterpaw didn't know if that would be good or bad.

Star forbid she get a damn wink of sleep around this clan. Howlingkit snarls, dragged back to this place for the second time. Hell, was this guy even dead to begin with? Grey paws landing in a spot she hadn’t seen yet. Disappointed was an understatement and so was this cat. She listens in “amusement” at him. Bitterflash? Ew, lame as name. The other guy was at least a bit scary then there was this one.

“I don’t care about your name, or about you to be straight to the point.” Ha. He looked as annoyed as she did. This would be interesting, he could be useful maybe. “If you have useful knowledge or experience to give me, I’ll be leaving. I already have someone who can do this whole “mentor” scary guy act and a lot better than you, so get to it.” Howlingkit lets out a very loud scoff. She was sick of the stars, or in this case, the starless trying to use her a pawn. The enforcer’s daughter stars at this Bitterflash guy.

Then he asked about her. No, she had played this game with Heron before. She wanted useful advice before handing over information. He had said he was watching over her and he knew her name? “How about no. If you have been watching over me then what would even want to know, hm? What don’t you already know, dead man?” A test of sorts. This could be another Heron, a none deceased cat making some dumb ass connection. But Heron hadn’t cared about location, so maybe this one did and was being special about it. The kitten holds a look of questioning and smirk on her face. Claws slowly peeking out. Blue and yellow eyes scanning this one up and down.

She hadn’t noticed the difference in scent. The other one had smelled like her clan, this one was fishy and like a body of water she wasn’t able to place her claw onto.
