Herb patrol

Tallgrass walked along the kitty-pet fence that smelled strongly of Twolegs. The fence was lined with long, itchy grass that made his skin tingle, so he moved away from it, shaking his fur as he distanced himself from the itchy grass..
The tom looked around with an open maw, trying to catch the scent of tansy and catmint. Lightningstorm had said catmint smelled delicious; good thing he had eaten before they left, so he didn't feel hungry. Gathering the catmint should be easy. As for tansy, Lightningstorm mentioned it smelled sweet but tastes bitter, so Tallgrass knew he didn't dare wish to know how it tasted. How awful it would be to have such a bitter taste in his mouth. "Blegh," he thought, scrunching his nose to match his thoughts.
Tallgrass regained focus. It was best to be alert around Twoleg places; it would be no good if any of them were captured. Tallgrass didn't want to risk that for his clanmates or have the guilt on his mind and the loss of a clanmate on his paws. He could not bear the thought of that happening to anyone. Tallgrass stopped and looked around, trying to see if any purple flowers were nearby. That was what Lightningstorm said, right? As Tallgrass stood, he waited for his clanmates.

Willowpaw padded up to the twoleg fence, and asked Tallgrass, “What are we looking for again?”

TallGrass smiled at the apprentices question "Tansy and catmint" he said "Lightning storm said they both smell sweet especially tansy but she said that it taste bad so try not to bite it...Uhh and catmint smells good and taste good." he told the apprentice as the one eyed tom looked around sniffing and catching a whiff of a delicious smelling herb and walking over "Here this must be catmint smells good but if you find some try not to eat it and keep some for the clan." he advised as he grabbed the herb in his maw that made his mouth water

Willowpaw scented the air. She could smell something sweet, and she followed the scent to a clump of herbs.
‘I hope it doesn’t taste bad’ she thought. She took one stem in her mouth and plucked it from the clump.
“YUCK!” She yowled after leaping about a foot into the air. Yep. This was definitely tansy… Willowpaw hadn’t thought it would taste that bad!
She padded back over to the herbs, and picked three more stems.

TallGrass smiled "Good job willowpaw sorry that you got a foul taste in your mouth." he said grabbing the last of the cat mint he could find "This should be good." he said "you ready to go?" he asked
