Hawkthorn yawned and drowsily lifted himself up from his warm and comfy nest. He nudged Flowernose. She didn't wake. Hawkthorn grumbled and stood up. Why am I up so early? He wondered to himself and carefully stepped out of the den, avoiding any stray tails or ears. I don't have to train Burnedpaw today, do I?

Hawkthorn stretched his hind legs and shook his head. It wasn't today. Why was he up? He shrugged. Might as well get some prey. Hawkthorn padded to the prey pile and shifted his paw through the choices. Mice, vole, rabbit..

Hawkthorn finally decided on a rabbit and brought it back to the entrance of the warrior den. "This is too big for me to eat." He meowed, even though Flowernose always complained how he was such a fatty. "Who to share it with?" He wondered and glanced around the clearing.

Dandelionmane ♥ She / Her ♥ Thunderclan Warrior ♥ 15+ moons

Dandelionmane was in camp, though this wasn't entirely odd for them. They preferred going out at night when things felt more peaceful anyway. They noticed Hawkthorn exiting the warrior den. They'd seen him around camp a few times and had heard tales from other warriors but had never interacted with him. They were the only cats up and about at this hour.

The pure white warrior silently watched him as he made his way from the den to the fresh-kill pile, sifted through the prey then picked up a rather juicy-looking rabbit. Dandelionmane's stomach rumbled as they realized they hadn't eaten anything that day.

They heard his words but felt it'd be tactless to invite themself over. They then realized they'd been staring at him from the second he had left the warriors' den. Nice one Dandelionman, you've probably freaked the poor guy out. They had to make themself known but not be awkward about it.

The Thunderclan warrior carefully rose to their paws, before 'confidently' making their way over to him. In their mind, their chest was puffed out and they were striding over proudly. In reality, they were more so awkwardly slinking over. If that wasn't enough, a twig was in their way and they didn't even notice.

By the time they did, they were face first in the ground at his paws. The large white warrior didn't dare move an inch, embarrassment radiating off their pelt as they lay there, silently. If Starclan struck them down here and now it'd be greatly welcomed.
